This Guy Tried To Buy Makeup For His Girlfriend, Failed Miserably

When presented with the near impossible task of buying makeup for his girlfriend at the store, this guy on Imgur refused to back down from the challenge. Having no idea what "matte" meant, or how a lipstick could be both "light bright" and matte, he went forth and braved the makeup aisle nonetheless. And because he wanted to share his journey with all of us, the entire exchange between he and his girlfriend, while he was on his makeup quest, now lives on Imgur.

TBH things could've gone a LOT worse. Like, this guy was a very good sport and his girlfriend was way more patient about it than I could've been. 

But just when you think this guy might actually pull it off, there's a surprising downfall...

 

 

So close, my man. So close. This deserves a serious A for effort. He should consider starting a delivery service that just involves running to the store for makeup when women realize they don't have an essential bright pink lipstick, or need a set of "falsies." Truly incredible.
