Karabakh Defense Minister presents evidence of Azerbaijani aggression to Minsk Group

STEPANAKERT. - The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Minister and Defense Army Commander, Lieutenant General Levon Mnastakanyan has today met with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs James Warlick, Igor Popov and Pierre Andrieu at the NKR Defense Army Headquarters. The meeting was also attended by the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk.

At the meeting, the NKR Defense Minister briefed them on recent developments on the Line of Contact between Karabakh and Azerbaijani opposing forces and presented undeniable evidence of Azerbaijan’s military aggression, specifically the inhuman measures taken against the civilian population, the NKR Defense Ministry representatives told Armenian News – NEWS.am.  

For their part, the Co-Chairs reconfirmed the necessity to take steps towards solving the conflict through peaceful talks and discuss the prospects of further processes to be implemented in that direction.
