2014 թվականի սկզբից ի վեր «Բոկո հարամ» իսլամիստական խմբավորումը առնվազն 2 հազար կանանց ու աղջիկների Է առեւանգել Նիգերիայում: Այդ մասին ապրիլի 14-ին հաղորդել Է Аmnesty International իրավապաշտպան կազմակերպությունը:

Զեկույցում, որը կազմակերպության կողմից պատրաստվել Է իսլամիստների կողմից 219 դպրոցական աղջիկների՝ աշխարհում լայն արձագանք գտած առեւանգման տարեդարձի կապակցությամբ, նշվում Է, որ գործնականում «դժվար Է գնահատել, թե ընդամենը քանի մարդ Է առեւանգված»:

2014 թվականի ապրիլի 14-ին «Բոկո Հարամ»-ը հարձակում Է կատարել Նիգերիայի Չիբոկե քաղաքի վրա եւ առեւանգել 219 աշակերտուհիների: Մայիսին խմբավորման կողմից տարածված տեսահոլովակում ցուցադրվել Էին նրանցից շուրջ հարյուրը՝ մուսուլմանուհիների հագուստով եւ Ղուրան ընթերցելիս: Դրանից հետո աղջիկների ճակատագրի մասին ոչինչ հայտնի չԷ:
