Ի վերջո, քրիստոնեական աշխարհն ապացուցեց, որ Թուրքիան չի կարող ոչ մի կերպ շեղել քաղաքակիրթ երկրների ուշադրությունը Հայոց ցեղասպանության խնդրից: Ամբողջ քրիստոնեական աշխարհը, ինչու չէ, նաեւ մուսուլմանական աշխարհը, պետք է ընդունեն ցեղասպանության փաստը: Մարդկության պատմությունն այնպիսինն է, որ վաղ թե ուշ բոլոր ցեղասպանությունները ճանաչվելու են համաշխարհային մակարդակով: Հռոմի պապի գնահատականի եւ արտաքին քաղաքական վերջին զարգացումների մասին Orer.am-ին իր տեսակետը հայտնեց ԱԺ ՀՀԿ խմբակցության պատգամավոր Համլետ Հարությունյանը:

Պատգամավորի դիտարկմամբ՝ վերջին մի քանի տարում Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչման հարցը բավական բարձր մակարդակի վրա է:

«Եթե օբյեկտիվ լինենք, ապա Հայոց ցեղասպանության միջազգային ճանաչելիությունը վերջին մի քանի տարիների ընթացքում շատ բարձր մակարդակի էր հասել եւ հիմա Թուրքիան, իհարկե, առավելիին է սպասում, այնպես որ Հռոմի պապի ելույթը թուրքերի համար անակնկալ չէր: Իմ խորին համոզմամբ՝ Գալիպոլիի ճակատամարտի 100-ամյակը, որը նրանք փորձում են նշել, ծաղրի առարկա կդառնա ամբողջ աշխարհում: Այդ զուգահեռները պետք է այնպես անցկացնել, որ տրամաբանական լինեն կամ խելքին մոտ»,- նշեց վերջինս:

Ըստ նրա՝ Էրդողանի այդ քայլն ամբողջ աշխարհում ծիծաղ կառաջացնի, որովհետեւ այդ ճակատամարտը համաշխարհային որեւէ նշանակություն չունեցող, կոտորածի նման արյունալի մի բան է, որն առաջադեմ մարդկության համար մերժելի ռազմական գործողություն էր, իսկ Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը բոլորովին այլ հարց է՝ այն իրապես համայն մարդկության ողբերգությունն է:

Համլետ Հարությունյանը համոզմունք հայտնեց, որ կգա այն օրը, երբ մինչ օրս մերժողական քաղաքականություն վարող երկրները կընդունեն Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը:

«Թուրքիան եւ ցեղասպանող մյուս պետությունները պետք է ի վերջո հասկանան, որ մարդն Աստծո արարած է: Մարդկանց ոչնչացումը, անկախ կրոնից, խոշոր հանցագործություն է մարդկության դեմ: Կգա ժամանակ, որ ե'ւ Անգլիան, Գերմանիան, ե'ւ մնացած մերժողական քաղաքականություն վարող պետություններին հայերը կստիպեն ընդունել Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը»,- վստահ է պատգամավորը:

Հարցին` արդյո՞ք Հռոմի պապը իր հայտարարությամբ կարմիր քարտ ցույց տվեց Թուրքիային, պատգամավորը համաձայնեց, որ Հռոմի պապի քայլերի մեջ նաեւ քաղաքական երանգ կար ու որ այն կարելի է համարել նաեւ կարմիր քարտ:

«Այդ քայլով նա ասաց, որ Թուրքիայի բարոյական չափանիշները չեն համապատասխանում եվրոպական ընտանիք մտնելու համար»,- խոսքը եզրափակեց պատգամավորը:
