Անընդհատ գրում են, որ Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչած երկրների թիվը մոտ օրերս կարող է ավելանալ ևս մեկով: Գերմանիայի արտգործնախարար Ֆրանկ-Վալտեր Շտայնմայերը վերջերս տված հարցազրույցում անդրադառնալով ապրիլի 24-ին Բունդեսթագում Հայոց ցեղասպանության շուրջ նախատեսված քննարկումներին, նշել է, թե երկրի խորհրդարանը միանգամայն ազատ է 1915 թվականին Օսմանյան կայսրությունում հայերի հետ տեղի ունեցածը ցեղասպանություն անվանելու որոշման մեջ:

Գերմանիայում տիրող պաշտոնական և ոչ պաշտոնական գնահատականները, ընդհանուր մթնոլորտը, վերաբերմունքը կարծես թե փոխվել են, չկա պաշտոնական Բեռլինի նախկին կոշտ դիրքորոշումը, սակայն այնուամենայնիվ, իմ կարծիքով, Բունդեսթագը չի ճանաչի Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը: Կլինեն բուռն քննարկումներ, կդատապարտեն, սակայն ԱՄՆ-ի, Օբամայի նման կնտրեն մի լղոզված ընդհանուր գնահատական:

Մի մոռացեք Գերմանիայում ապրող միլիոնավոր թուրքերին, որոնք արդեն սերտաճել են այդ պետության տնտեսական, պետական կառույցներում, ունեն որոշակի ազդեցություն և որոշակի վտանգ են ներկայացնում առհասարակ այդ պետության համար:
Մոտ ապագայում գուցե հնարավոր լինի, սակայն Գերմանիան դեռևս պատրաստ չէ ցեղասպանության ճանաչմանը…Տա Աստված սխալվեմ, բայց հիմա այն հնարավոր չէ…

Ցեղասպանության մեկդարյա տարելիցը նշելուց հետո` ապագայի առումով, մենք արդեն ազգովի վերջնականապես պետք է մտածենք միայն ու միայն մեր Հայրենիքի, մեր Պետության հզորացման մասին:Հայ ժողովրդի ազգային, ֆինանսական, ինտելեկտուալ ողջ ներուժն ու հնարավորություններն այսուհետ պետք է ուղղվեն ու ծառայեն մեկ նպատակի` հայկական Հզոր Պետություն ստեղծելու գաղափարին: Այլ ճանապարհ չունենք, միակ ճանապարհը մեր Հայրենիքի հզորացումն է, այդ նպատակին ծառայելուն ունակ պետական կառույցների ու կադրային բազայի ստեղծումը, համապատասխան մթնոլորտի ձևավորումը…
