Թուրքիայի իշխանությունների վերջին հայտարարություններն արդյունք են միջազգային հանրության կողմից գործադրվող ճնշման և ավելի շատ օգնում են հայկական կողմին մոտեցումները հստակեցնելու հարցում:Ազգային ժողովում լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանը նման կարծիք հայտնեց «Ժառանգություն» խմբակցության պատգամավոր,նախկին արտգործնախարար Ալեքսանդր Արզումանյանը՝ անդրադառնալով Թուրքիայի վարչապետ Ահմեդ Դավութօղլուի վերջին ուղերձին: 

«Թուրքիայի վրա միջազգային հանրության ճնշումն ակնհայտ է: Հայոց ցեղասպանության վերաբերյալ Հռոմի պապի վերջին հայտարարությունը, Եվրոպայի խորհրդարանի կողմից Ցեղասպանությունը դատապարտող բանաձևի ընդունումը, Թուրքիայի դաշնակից Գերմանիայում ևս Ց եղասպանությունը դատապարտող բանաձևն ընդունելու ակնկալիքը, և այս ամենը վկայում են Թուրքիայի վրա գործադրվող ճնշման մասին: Հենց այս ճնշումը Թուրքիայի իշխանություններին ստիպում է ոչ ադեկվատ հայտարարություններ անել, ինչն ավելի շատ օգնում է հայկական կողմին և նպաստում հակաթուրքական տրամադրությունների աճին»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ ընդգծեց Արզումանյանը:

Անդրադառնալով ՀՀ ազգային ժողովի կողմից Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցի կապակցությամբ հայտարարությանը՝ Արզումանյանն ընդգծեց, որ հայտարարությունն ուղղակի կոչ է բոլոր երկրների խորհրդարաններին և միջազգային այլ կառույցներին՝ ճանաչել և դատապարտել Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը:Անդրադառնալով դիտարկմանը, թե ընդամենը 4 երկրի նախագահ է ընդունել Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցի միջոցառումներին մասնակցելու հրավերը՝ պատգամավորը նշեց, որ պետք չէ մրցակցության մեջ մտնել, թե քանի նախագահ կմասնակցի Գալիպոլիի տոնակատարություններին, քանիսը՝ Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցի միջոցառումներին: Նա ընդգծեց, որ իրականում շատ դժվար է բոլոր երկրների նախագահներին մեկ տեղում հավաքել:Թուրքիայի վարչապետ Ահմեդ Դավութօղլուն կրկնել է Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանի 2014 թ. ապրիլյան քայլը և ցավակցություն է հայտնելԱռաջին աշխարհամարտի ընթացքում զոհված օսմանահպատակ հայերի ժառանգներին: 

Թուրքական կառավարության ղեկավարըմիևնույն ժամանակ հայտարարել է, թե նույնպիսի ցավ են ապրե լ «տարբեր էթնիկ ու կրոնական ենթախորք ունեցող օսմանյանքաղաքացիները»՝  նշելով, թե ցեղասպանություն եզրույթի հնչեցումը պատասխանատվության ընդհանրացման ձև է: Դավութօղլուն նաևակնարկել է, որ Անկարան պատրաստ չէ գնալ Ցեղասպանության ճանաչման ճանապարհով:
