Բելգիայում պետական ծառայողների ազգային գործադուլը, որոնք հանդես են գալիս կառավարության խիստ խնայողության միջոցառումների դեմ, արգելափակել Է հասարակական բազմաթիվ ծառայությունների աշխատանքը եւ հարկադրել չեղյալ հայտարարելու միջազգային եւ ազգային գնացքների մեծ մասի չվերթները:

Բողոքի ակցիան, որը կտեւի մինչեւ ապրիլի 22-ի երեկոն, տեղի Է ունենում «Պետական ծառայողների ընդհանուր ֆեդերացիա» (CGSP) ազգային արհմիության նախաձեռնությամբ: Գործադուլավորները հանդես են գալիս աջ կենտրոնամետ կառավարության բյուջետաին խնայողության միջոցառումների դեմ: Պետական ծառայողների ներկայացուցիչները հասկանում են, որ հատվածը բարենորոգման կարիք ունի, բայց վրդովված են, որ իշխանությունները չեն ցանկանում դա զուգորդել աշխատողների օժանդակման անհրաժեշտ միջոցառումներով:

Բրյուսելում աշխատում են մետրոյի սոսկ երկու գիծ եւ տրամվայի հինգ գիծ, խիստ սահմանափակված Է ավտոբուսային հաղորդակցությունը: Դպրոցական ուսուցիչները, որոնք մտնում են արհմիության մեջ, ապրիլի 22-ին լքել են դասերը, գործադուլ են անում փոստի աշխատակիցները, վարչական շենքերի դիմաց կազմակերպվում են ուղեկալներ:
