Հայոց ցեղասպանության մասին հիշելը, ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակին հարգանքի տուրք մատուցելը ոչ միայն հայ ժողովրդի իրավունքն է, այլ նաև համայն մարդկության պարտականությունը: «Ընդդեմ ցեղասպանության հանցագործության» խորագրով գլոբալ ֆորումի ընթացքում իր ելույթում նման կարծիք հայտնեց Հունաստանի խորհրդարանի խոսնակ Զոյի Կոնստանտոպուլուն:Ցեղասպանության զոհերին հիշելը և նրանց հիշատակին հարգանքի տուրք մատուցելը ողջ մարդկության պարտականությունն է մարդկային տեսակի, մարդկային արժեքների, ապագա սերունդների նկատմամբ: Ցեղասպանության մասին հիշելը նաև կանխարգելման մեխանիզմ է»,-  ընդգծեց Զոյի Կոնստանտոպուլուն:

Նա շեշտեց, որ ցեղասպանությունն ամենավայրագ հանցագործությունն է մարդկության դեմ՝ ընդգծելով, որ խորհրդարաններն իրենց ուրույն դերն ունեն նման դեպքերը հետագայում կանխելու հարցում և այդ ուղղությամբ պետք է էական ջանքեր գործադրեն: «Մենք՝ խորհրդարանականներս, պարտավոր ենք հիշել ցեղասպանության մասին: Մենք պետք է հասկանանք, որ պարտավոր ենք դիմակայել ռասիզմին, այլատյացությանը: Պետք է ընդդիմանալ նման երևույթներին, քանի որ դա լավագույն կանխարգելիչ մեխանիզմն է»,- ասաց Հունաստանւի խորհրդարանի խոսնակը:

Նա հիշեցրեց, որ Հունաստանի խորհրդարանն առաջիններից մեկն է ճանաչել Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը: Զոյի Կոնստանտոպուլուն շնորհակալություն հայտնեց Հայաստանի խորհրդարանին՝ հույների ցեղասպանությունը դատապարտող հայտարարություն ընդունելու համար:

Նա նաև շնորհակալություն հայտնեց ՀՀ նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանին՝ Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցի միջոցառումներին մասնակցելու հրավեր ուղարկելու համար՝ ընդգծելով, որ իր համար մեծ պատիվ է ելույթ ունենալ ֆորումի ընթացքում՝ որպես ցեղասպանություն տեսած երկրի խորհրդարանի ղեկավար:c
