Բելառուսի Հանրապետության նախագահ Ալեքսանդր Լուկաշենկոն իր կառավարման 20 տարիների ընթացքում առաջին անգամ պաշտոնական այցով գտնվում է Վրաստանում, որտեղ հանդիպել է նախագահ Մարգվելաշվիլիի, վարչեպետ Ղարիբաշվիլիի, ինչպես նաև՝ Վրաց եկեղեցու առաջնորդ Իլիա Երկրորդի հետ, ապա՝ մեկնել Աջարիա:

Հետաքրքրական է, որ Լուկաշենկոյի այս այցը մեծ խանդավառությամբ է ընդունվել վրաց հասարակական-քաղաքական, ինչպես նաև՝ փորձագիտական շրջանակների կողմից: Գրեթե բոլորը նշում են նշված այցի կարևորությունը՝ հիմնականում շեշտը դնելով այն հանգամանքի վրա, որ Բելառուսը պաշտպանում է Վրաստանի տարածքային ամբողջականությունը և հակառակ ՌԴ կամքի չի ճանաչում Աբխազիայի և Հարավային Օսիայի անկախությունը:

Վրաստանում կարևոր են համարում նաև վրաց-բելառուսական համագործակցությունը զարգացնելու երկկողմ ցանկությունը, իսկ պատճառն այն է, որ բելառուսական շուկան շատ հարմար տարբերակ է վրացական արտադրանքների իրացման համար՝ թեՙ իր մեծությամբ, և թեՙ պահանջների ոչ խիստ չափորոշիչների առումով: Այսինքն, երկու երկրների միջև հարաբերությունները զարգացնելու ձգտումները և տարբեր ոլորտներում համագործխակցության խորացումը կարող է մեծ օգուտներ բերել երկու երկրներին:

Հատկապես կարևոր է Վրաստանի համար գյուղատնտեսական ապրանքների, գինու և հանքային ջրերի արտահանման հնարավորությունների մեծացումը Բելառուսի տարածքում: Իսկ Լուկաշենկոյի այցելությունն, անխոս, մեծ խթան կհանդիսանա վերոնշյալի համար:Այն համաձայնագրերը և աշխատանքային պայմանավորվածութոյւնները, որոնք ձեռք են բերվել այս երկու օրերի ընթացքում Վրաստանի և Բելառուսի միջև, մասնավորապես՝ առևտրի, գյուղատնտեսության, մաքսային և հարկային ոլորտներում, ինչպես նաև՝ գիտական բնագավառում, անշուշտ, դրական լիցք կհաղորդեն հետագա համագործակցությանը:

Այդուհանդերձ, Լուկաշենկոյի այցը որոշակի հարցեր է իր հետ առաջ բերել նույն Վրաստանում, որոնք հիմնականում վերաբերում են այն կասկածներին, թե արդյո՞ք տվյալ այցելությունը պաշտոնական Մոսկվայից Թբիլիսիի մեսիջներ բերելու նպատակ չէր հետապնդում: Իհարկե խնդիրը դիտարկվում է հետագայի տեսանկյունից, այն է, զարգացնելով և բարձրացնելով հարաբերությունների մակարդակը Վրաստանի հետ, Բելառուսը հետագայում կարող է փորձել Վրաստանին ներգրավել Եվրասիական տնտեսական միության գործունեությանը, ինչը, թերևս, ընթացող զարգացումների տեսանկյունից իրատեսական չէ:

Այդ հարցին նույնիսկ անդրադարձել է Վրաստանի վարչապետը՝ ընդգծելով, որ նման կարծիքները աբսուրդային են, քանի որ Վրաստանը վաղուց ընտրել է իր ճանապարհը, և դա եվրոպական մեծ ընտանիքի կազմի մեջ ընդգրկվելու՝ վրաց հասարակության և Վրաստանի քաղաքացիների սկզբունքային որոշումն է:

Հ.Գ. Պետք է փաստել, որ Լուկաշենկոյի այցը Վրաստանում նոր կրքեր է բորբոքել, թե՛ դրական և թե՛ բացասական տեսանկյունից:
