Հայաստանի ատոմակայանի նոր էներգաբլոկի կառուցման համար 5 միլիարդ դոլար գումար է անհրաժեշտ, որը տրամադրելու հնարավորություն պետությունը չունի: Այս մասին Ազգային ժողովում հայկական ատոմակայանի 2-րդ էներգաբլոկի շահագործման ժամկետի երկարաձգման համաձայնագրի քննարկման ընթացքում հայտարարեց ՀՀ էներգետիկայի և բնական պաշարների նախարարի տեղակալ Արեգ Գալստյանը: «Մեր պետությունն այդքան գումար չունի, այդքան մեծ չափի վարկ էլ չի կարող վերցնել: Դրա համար մենք ներդրող ենք փն տրում: Որևէ վտանգ չկա նրանում, որ ատոմակայանի նոր կառուցվելիք էներգաբլոկը, բացի պետությունից, ունենա նաև մասնավոր սեփականատեր: Մեզ հարկավոր է ներդրող, որը կարող է մասնակից լինել այս ծրագրին»,- նշեց Գալստյանը:

Նա ընդգծեց, որ հայկական կողմը «Ռոսատոմ» ընկերության հետ ունի նախնական պայմանավորվածություն, որպեսզի վերջինս մասնակցի ատոմակայանի նոր էներգաբլոկի կառուցման ծրագրին: «Այդ ընկերությունից խոստացել են, որ կտրամադրեն միջուկային կղզյակի սարքավորումները: Նրանք մինչ այս պահն էլ պատրաստ են լինել ներդրող, սակայն մենք դեռ չենք դիմել այդ հարցով: Ռուսաստանը ևս պատրաստ է մեզ վարկ տրամադրել, սակայն մենք չենք կարող այդքան գումար վարկով վերցնել, դրա համար էլ բանակցում ենք, ունենք գործընկերներ, որոնք հստակ ասում են, որ պատրաստ են այս ծրագրում ներդրումներ իրականացնել»,- ասաց փոխնախարարը:

Նա վստահեցրեց, որ պետությունն ամեն դեպքում լինելու է ատոմակայանի նոր կառուցվելիք էներգաբլոկի համասեփականատեր, սակայն դեռևս հստակ չէ, թե քանի տոկոս բաժնետոմոսով: Նրա խոսքով՝ այդ հարցը կորոշվի բանակցությունների արդյունքում:
