Նեյրոգիտության գիտնականների միջազգային թիմն առաջին անգամ հաղորդագրություն է կարողացել ուղարկել Հնդկաստանում գտնվող անձի ուղեղից Ֆրանսիայում գտնվող երեք անձերի ուղեղներ:
Հետազոտողների թիմը, որտեղ ներառված են նաև Հարվարդի բժշկական դպրոցի, Իսպանիայի Սթարլեբ Բարսելոնայի և Ֆրանսիայի Աքսիլում Ռոբոտիքսի գիտնականները, այսօր հայտարարեց, որ իրենց հաջողվել է ուղեղից ուղեղ հաղորդագրություն փոխանցել՝ միմյանցից 8000 կմ հեռավորության վրա գտնվող անձանց միջև: Այս մասին հայտարարվել է Eurekalert գիտական կայքում հրապարակված մամլո հաղորդագրության մեջ:
«Մենք ցանկանում էինք իմանալ՝ արդյո՞ք հնարավոր է երկու մարդկանց միջև ուղղակի կապ հաստատել՝ մեկ ուղեղի գործողությունը կարդալով ու մյուսի ուղեղ տեղափոխելով հսկայական ֆիզիկական հեռավորության վրա` հիմնվելով առկա հաղորդակցության միջոցների վրա»,- այս մասին նշել է Հարվարդի համալսարանի գիտնական Ալվարո Պասկուալ-Լեոնեն. «Կկարողանայի՞նք հաջողությամբ այնպիսի գիտափորձ իրականացնել, որը կշրջանցեր խոսելու և տպելու ինտերնետի հնարավորություններն ու ուղեղից ուղեղ ուղղակի հաղորդակցություն կփոխանցեր Հնդկաստանոում և Ֆրանսիայում գտնվող սուբյեկտների միջև»:
Գիտափորձն իրականացնելու համար մասնակիցներին էլեկտրոդների հիման վրա նախագծված ուղեղի համակարգիչ (BCI - Brain-computer Interface) են հագցրել: Սարքի միջոցով ուղեղում էլեկտրական հոսանքը «թարգմանվել» է 1-երի ու 0-ների հիման վրա երկակի կոդի, որը հայտնի է որպես Բեկոնի ծածկագիր (նման՝ համակարգիչներոււմ օգտագործվող կոդին, սակայն ավելի կոմպակտ):
«Ուղարկողը» մտքով կառավարվող տեխնոլոգիայի շնորհիվ ինֆորմացիան ուղարկել է համակարգչին: Սարքն այնուհետև էլեկտրական ազդակներ է արձակել «ընդունողի» ուղեղի միջով, որը թույլ է տալիս նրան լույսի առկայծումներ տեսնել, որոնք ֆոսֆեններ են կոչվում և որպես այդպիսին իրականում գոյություն չունեն: Երբ «ընդունողի» սարքը ինտերնետի միջոցով ստանում է «ուղարկողի» երկակի հաղորդագրությունը, սարքը սկսում է աշխատել ու ֆոսֆեններ ուղարկել գլխուղեղի տարբեր հատվածներ: Լույսի կայծերն ուղեղում համապատասխանում են 1-երի իսկ մյուս հատվածում հայտնվելով 0-ների:
Այն, թե ինչպես են «ընդունողները» կարողանում 0-ներն ու 1-երը «թարգմանել» դեռևս պարզ չէ:
Դեռևս նաև հայտնի չէ, թե ինչպես կարող են ներդնել այս նոր հայտնագործությունը տեխնոլոգիաներում, սակայն համաձայնեք, որ սա շրրջադարձային գիտական ձեռքբերում է:
Իսկ փոխանցված հաղորդագրությունը եղել է շատ կարճ ու ընկերական ՝ «Hola» և «Ciao», որ թարգմանաբար բարև են նշանակում:
