ՁԻԱՀ-ից մահացածների հիշատակի միջազգային օրվան ընդառաջ, «Հայկական Կարիտաս» բարեսիրական հասարակական կազմակերպությունը, ՀՀ առողջապահության նախարարության ՁԻԱՀ-ի կանխարգելման հանրապետական կենտրոնի հետ համատեղ, մայիսի 18-ին, Գյումրիում անցկացրեց «Հետազոտվի՛ր և եղի՛ր իրազեկ» խորագրով միջոցառումը: Ցանկացողները միջոցառման շրջանակներում, Վարդանանց և Թատերական հրապարակներում կարող էին անվճար անցնել ՄԻԱՎ-ի արագ թեստ: Հետազոտության գաղտնիությունն ապահովված էր: Միջոցառման նպատակը բնակչությանը ՄԻԱՎ-ի վերաբերյալ հետազոտության կարևորության մասին տեղեկացումն էր, քանի ոչ Հիվանդության վաղ ախտորոշումը նպաստում է ՄԻԱՎ վարակի հետագա տարածման կանխարգելմանը:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրեց ՁԻԱՀ-ի կանխարգելման հանրապետական կենտրոնի մեթոդիստ Արևիկ Պետրոսյանը, խնդիրը մտահոգիչ է: ՄԻԱՎ-ի վարակից մահացությունը հիմնականում պայմանավորված է վարակի ուշ հայտնաբերումով, իսկ սա այնպիսի հիվանդություն է, որից կարելի է պաշտպանվել, եթե կա համապատասխան գիտելիք:

«Ամբողջ աշխարհում մայիսի երրորդ կիրակին նշվում է որպես ՁԻԱՀ-ից մահացածների հիշատակի օր և, ինչպես մայրաքաղաքում, այնպես էլ հանրապետության մյուս քաղաքներում, ՁԻԱՀ-ի կանխարգելման հանրապետական կենտրոնը, տարբեր հասարակական կազմակերպությունների հետ անցկացնում է տարաբնույթ միջոցառումներ: Գյումրիում «Հայկական Կարիտաս»-ի հետ անցկացվում է արագ թեստավորում, որի շրջանակներում ցանկացողները 20 րոպեի ընթացքում կարող են ՄԻԱՎ-ի վերաբերյալ անվճար հետազոտվել ու ստանալ պատասխանը: ՄԻԱՎ-ի վերաբերյալ հետազոտությունը խթանող հանրային միջոցառումները չափազանց կարևոր< /b> են և անհրաժեշտ: Շատերը չգիտեն ՄԻԱՎ-ի մասին, դրա փոխանցման ուղիները: Հանրապետությունում, վերջին ամսվա տվյալով՝ կա 443 մահվան դեպք, իսկ ՄԻԱՎ-ով ապրող մարդկանց թիվը հասնում է 2051-ի»,-նշեց Արևիկ Պետրոսյանը:

Միջոցառումը իրականացվում է Ավստրիայի զարգացման գործակալության և «Կարիտաս Ավստրիա»-ի ֆինանսավորած «ՄԻԱՎ/ՁԻԱՀ-ի կանխարգելումը Շիրակի մարզի գյուղական համայնքներում» ծրագրի շրջանակներում:
