Վրաստանի ԱԳ նախարար Թամարա Բերուչաշվիլին հայտարարել Է, որ առայժմ հնարավորություններ չի տեսնում Ռուսաստանի իր պաշտոնակից Սերգեյ Լավրովի հետ հանդիպում անցկացնելու համար, այդ թվում՝ ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր ասամբլեայի առաջիկա հոբելյանական նստաշրջանի շրջանակներում, տեղեկացնում Է  «Գրուզիա Online»-ը:

«Մենք հանդիպման հնարավորությունը չենք քննարկում: Որովհետեւ մենք ունենք ներկայիս ձեւաչափը, այն անբավարար Է, բայց երկխոսություն, այնուամենայնիվ, ընթանում Է: Ինչ կպատահի եւ ինչ տեղի կունենա հետագայում, կախված Է շատ հանգամանքներից: Ես չեմ կարող կանխատեսել՝ ինչ կպատահի առաջիկա ամիսներին: Դա կախված Է շատ հանգամանքներից: Բայց, անկեղծ ասած, չեմ հավատում հանդիպմանը միայն հանուն ձեռքսեղմումների: Երբեմն ձեռքսեղմումները շատ կարեւոր են եւ խորհրդանշական, բայց պետք Է լինի նաեւ որոշակի հիմք»,-հայտարարել Է Վրաստանի արտգործնախարարը, պատասխանելով այն հարցին, թե նա չի բացառում արդյոք Լավրովի հետ հանդիպումը ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր ասամբլեայի՝ սեպտեմբերին կայանալիք հոբելյանական նստաշրջանի շրջանակներում: Բերուչաշվիլին այս պահին գտնվում Է Ռիգայում, որտեղ մայիսի 21-22-ին անցկացվում Է «Արեւելյան գործընկերության» գագաթնաժողովը:

«Մենք ունենք հատուկ ձեւաչափ՝ ժնեւյան քննարկումները, որտեղ Ռուսաստանի հետ բանակցություններ ենք վարում ԵԱՀԿ-ի հատուկ ներկայացուցիչների մասնակցությամբ: Այդ կոնսուլտացիաներում մենք Ռուսաստանի հետ քննարկում ենք անվտանգության հարցեր, հումանիտար հարցեր: Մենք ունենք այդ ձեւաչափը: Հանդիպում՝ միայն հանդիպման համար… չգիտեմ: Մենք պետք Է առավելագույնս օգտագործենք առկա ձեւաչափը»,- հավելել Է Վրաստանի ԱԳ նախարարը:
