Վարչապետ Հովիկ Աբրահամյանն այսօր՝ մայիսի 25-ին, ընդունել է Շվեդիայի Թագավորության Ուփսալայի նահանգապետ Փիթեր Էգարդտին, ով Հայաստան է այցելել ՀՀ Լոռու մարզի և Շվեդիայի Ուփսալա նահանգի միջև համագործակցության հեռանկարները քննարկելու նպատակով: Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ կառավարության տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, վարչապետը ողջունել է Շվեդիայի նահանգապետի այցը Հայաստան և կարևորել երկու երկրների տարածաշրջանների միջև համագործակցության զարգացումը, ինչը կնպաստի հայ-շվեդական առևտրատնտեսական կապերի ակտիվացմանը և առկա ներուժի լիարժեք իրացմանը: Կառավարության ղեկավարը նշել է, որ ՀՀ-ն կարևորում է Եվրոպական միության երկրների հետ փոխգործակցության ընդլայնումը, և այս առումով Շվեդիան կարևոր գործընկեր է Հայաստանի համար:

Փիթեր Էգարդտը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել ընդունելության համար` նշելով, որ առաջին անգամ է այցելել մեր երկիր և տպավորված է հայ ժողովրդի հյուրընկալությամբ: Ուփսալայի նահանգապետն ընդգծել է, որ Շվեդիան կարևորում է Հայաստանի` որպես ԵՄ Արևելյան գործընկերության երկրի հետ հարաբերությունների զարգացումը և այդ նպատակով գործնական քայլերի ձեռնարկումը:

Զրուցակիցները մտքեր են փոխանակել տարբեր ուղղություններով համագործակցության ծավալման և ծրագրերի իրականացման շուրջ: Քննարկվել են, մասնավորապես, կրթության, գյուղատնտեսության, միջուկային անվտանգության ոլորտներում գործակցության զարգացմանը, տեղական ինքնակառավարման և տարածքային կառավարման համակարգում առկա փորձի փոխանակմանը վերաբերող հարցեր: Իր հերթին Լոռու մարզպետ Արթուր Նալբանդյանը վարչապետ Հովիկ Աբրահամյանին է ներկայացրել Շվեդիայի Ուփսալայի նահանգապետի հետ քննարկման արդյունքները և ձեռք բերված պայմանավորվածությունները, որոնք հնարավորություն կտան նոր թափ հաղորդել երկկողմ կապերին:
