Հայաստանի մի քանի բնակավայրերում շուտով սպասվում են համայնքապետի ընտրություններ: Հունիսի 7-ին Աբովյանում տեղի են ունենալու քաղաքապետի արտահերթ ընտրություններ: Հիշեցնենք, որ Աբովյանի նախկին քաղաքապետ Կարապետ Գուլոյանի Կոտայքի մարզպետ նշանակվելուց հետո այդ պաշտոնը մնացել էր թափուր: Եթե Արտաշատում մնացել է միայն մեկ թեկնածու՝ Արգամ Աբրահամյանը, ապա Աբովյանում մրցակցություն կա: Բայց այդ մրցակցությունը մերձիշխանական կամ նախկին իշխանական թևերի մեջ է: Որևէ ընդդիմադիր կուսակցություն չի առաջադրել թեկնածու: Նաև հետաքրքրական է, որ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի քաղաքականությունից հեռանալուց հետո առաջին անգամ ՀՀԿ-ն և ԲՀԿ-ն սատարում են նույն թեկնածուին՝ Վահագն Գևորգյանին, ով վայելում է նաև Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի աջակցությունը:

«Հայաստանում արդեն մեկ տասնամյակից ավել ՝ ձևավորվել է ընտրական համակարգ, որը շատ նման է Խորհրդային Միության ընտրություններին. կթվորուհիներին կամ հովիվներին ներկայացնում էին, և ժողովուրդը գնում էր, դհոլ-զուռնայով ընտրում: Հիմա կթվորուհու փոխարեն օլիգարխը կամ օլիգարխի լակոտն է: Թեկնածուների ստատուսն է փոխվել: Ընտրություն Հայաստանում այլևս գոյություն չունի, ընտրական համակարգը չի գործում: Այդ պատճառով այլընտրանքային ընտրությունը անիմաստ է: Տեսեք՝ ինչ է անում իշխանությունը. համայնքապետի թեկնածուներ են առաջադրվում, հետո քվեարկությունից առաջ հանել են տալիս այլընտրանքային թեկնածուներին: Հայաստանում ընտրական համակարգ այլևս գոյություն չունի: Մեզ մոտ գործընթացները ուրիշ հարթության մեջ պետք է դիտարկել»:
