Իրաքցի նախարարը միացել է Թուրքիայի կողմից Ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչելու իրաքահայերի պահանջին

Իրաքահայերը մայիսի 23-ին Թուրքիայի կառավարությունից պահանջել են ճանաչել Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը, որն իրականացրել են հարյուր տարի առաջ` նշելով, որ շարունակելու են ճնշում գործադրել Թուրքիայի վրա իրենց նպատակին հասնելու համար: Ինչպես հաղորդում է  «Խաբար Արմանի» արաբալեզու կայքը, Իրաքի գիտությունների և տեխնոլոգիայի նախարար Ֆարես Ջաջուն Հայոց ցեղասպանության վերաբերյալ համաժողովի շրջանակներում, որը կայացել է մայրաքաղաք Բաղդադում, նշել է, որ այս համաժողովի շեշտը դրվել է երկու իրականության վրա: «Նախ՝ հանցագործությունները չեն մեռնում հնությունից, և երկրորդ՝ մարդկային կյանքի սրբությունը վեր է ամեն ինչից»,- նշել է նա:

Նախարարի խոսքով՝ իրաքահայերը համաժողովներ են կազմակերպում` ճնշում գործադրելու թուրքական կառավարության վրա, որպեսզի այն ճանաչի Ցեղասպանությունը, որը թուրքերն իրականացրել են հայերի հանդեպ հարյուր տարի առաջ:

Նա նաև ընդգծել է, որ թուրքերի կողմից ճանաչումը կլինի ոչ թե վիրավորանք, այլ քաջություն` կարծիք հայտնելով, որ վերքը կլավանա, եթե թուրքական կողմը նստի բանակցությունների սեղանի շուրջ և ճանաչի հանցագործությունները:

Մյուս կողմից՝ հոգևորական Ջաաֆար ալ Ասադին իր զարմանքն է արտահայտել, որ Թուրքիան չի ճանաչել հանցագործությունն այսքան երկար ժամանակ` հաստատելով, որ իրենք, որպես մուսուլման, աջակցում են հայերին իրենց նպատակին հասնելու գործում:
