Лично я считаю, что нашу планету надо было называть Океанией. Ну какая же это Земля, если здесь полно воды? А мы этого не ценим и ежегодно выбрасываем в воды Мирового океана около 8 миллионов тонн различного мусора. Больше всего от этой человеческой халатности страдают различные обитатели подводного мира: как животные, так и растения. Более крупные животные могут попасть в ловушку плавучего мусорного поля, а те, что размером поменьше, глотают всякую дрянь, от которой им явно лучше не становится. На помощь мировому сообществу пришел 20-летний студент Боян Сэлт, который вместе со своей командой создал технологию, способную за 10 лет очистить от мусора все воды Мирового океана.

Уже в 2016 году ребята планируют запустить агрегат недалеко от острова Цусима. Этот участок Мирового океана считается самым загрязненным.

У этого 2-километрового устройства есть много преимуществ. Оно позволяет морским обитателям проплывать под ним, при этом в самом агрегате задерживается мелкий мусор, который плавает на воде. Если бы вместо этого устройства использовали лодку и сети, то на аналогичные работы ушло бы около 70 лет.

 

Оказывается, у нас еще есть шанс на то, чтобы не угробить нашу планету окончательно. А всё благодаря таким активистам, как Боян. По-моему, он заслуживает того, чтобы о нём узнали как можно больше людей, поэтому непременно расскажи об этом материале своим друзьям!
