Կիեւի մերձակա նավթաբազայում հրդեհի գոտուց 50 մետր հեռավորության վրա գտնվում են զինապահեստներ: Այդ մասին հայտարարել Է ՈՒկրաինայի ազգային անվտանգության եւ պաշտպանության խորհրդի քարտուղար Ալեքսանդր Տուրչինովը, որը ժամանել Է արտակարգ պատահարի վայր:

«Բռնկման վայրից 50 մետր հեռավորության վրա զինապահեստներն են,-ասել Է նա:-Գլխավոր խնդիրն Է՝ թույլ չտալ, որ կրակը տարածվի զինապահեստների վրա»: «Մենք օդից դիտել ենք հրդեհը, մոտեցել մինչեւ 20 մետր, պետք Է ասեմ, որ այժմ դինամիկան դրական Է, եւ ջերմաստիճանն ընկնում Է, հրդեհի գոտին նույնպես փոքրանում Է,-հավելել Է Տուրչինովը:-Բայց կա այն բանի վտանգը, որ ցիստեռնները կարող են պայթել բարձր ջերմաստիճանից»: Ըստ ՏԱՍՍ-ի՝ նա նշել Է, որ նավթաբազայում կարող Է լինել «շուրջ 14 հազար տոննա նավթամթերք»: Տուրչինովի խոսքով՝ հրդեհի փաստով «հետաքննություն Է անցկացվելու, քանի որ այդ բազան առանց այդ Էլ հետաքննության տակ Էր»:

Ինչպես հունիսի 9-ին հաղորդել Է «112 Ուկրաինա» հեռուստաալիքի կայքը, Ուկրաինայի անվտանգության խորհրդի քարտուղարը հայտարարել Է, որ նավթաբազայում հրդեհի վարկածներից մեկը դիվերսիան Է:

Ըստ ՌԻԱ Նովոստիի՝ ավելի վաղ Ուկրաինայի ներքին գործերի նախարար Արսեն Ավագովի խորհրդական Զորյան Շկիրյակը հայտարարել Է, որ նավթաբազայում հրդեհի պատճառ կարող Էր դառնալ ինչպես դիտավորյալ հրկիզումը, այնպես Էլ նավթամթերքի պահպանման կանոնների խախտումը:

Ուկրաինայի ՆԳ նախարարության մամուլի ծառայությունը հաղորդել Է, որ Կիեւի մարզի նավթաբազայում բռնկած հրդեհի հետեւանքով զոհվել Է 1, տուժել՝ 14 մարդ: «Ողբերգության հետեւանքով ժամը 12:00-ի դրությամբ (Երեւանի ժամանակով ժամը 13:00-ի) զոհվել Է 1 մարդ, 14-ը՝ վնասվածքներ են ստացել, որոնցից յոթն Ուկրաինայի արտակարգ իրավիճակների պետական ծառայության աշխատողներ են: Տուժածներին բուժօգնություն Է ցուցաբերվում»,-ասված Է հաղորդագրության մեջ:
