Ադրբեջանցի լրագրող և իրավապաշտպան Էմին Հուսեյնովը, ով արդեն երկար ժամանակ է, ինչ քաղաքական ապաստան էր գտել Բաքվում Շվեյցարիայի դեսպանատանը, կարողացել է հեռանալ երկրից: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, շվեցարական New Zurder Zeitung-ը հայտնում է, որ Հուսեյնովը Բաքվից հեռացել  Շվեյցարիայի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Դիդիե Բուրկհալտերի ուղղեկցությամբ: Գերմանական լրատվամիջոցը նշում է, որ Բուրկհալտերը Եվրոպական խաղերի բացման արարողությանը մասնակցելու է եկել միայն այդ նախապայմանով:

Նախքան այդ, շվեցարական կողմը երկարատև բանակցություններ է ունեցել Ադրբեջանի հետ, որին մասնակցել են նաև Բուրկհալտերը և Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևը:
