MERS-ի բռնկման պատճառով կտրուկ ընկել Է Հարավային Կորեայի նախագահի վարկանիշը

 Հարավային Կորեայի նախագահ Պան Կին Հեի վարկանիշը մինչեւ 29 տոկոս Է ընկել  երկրում MERS կորոնավիրուսի բռնկման ֆոնին, որից մահացել Է ավելի քան 20 մարդ, տեղեկացնում Է BBC-ը:

Gallup սոցիոլոգիական ընկերության տվյալների համաձայն՝ երկու շաբաթվա ընթացքում երկրի այն քաղաքացիների թիվը, ովքեր պաշտպանում Էին նախագահին, կրճատվել Է 10 տոկոսով:

Հարցվածները որպես Պան Կին Հեի գործունեությունից դժգոհության հիմնական պատճառ նշում են ուշացած արձագանքը կորոնավիրուսի բռնկմանը:

Պան Կին Հեն Հարավային Կորեայի նախագահի պաշտոնն ստանձնել Է 2013 թվականի փետրվարին: Ներկայիս վարկանիշն ամենացածրն Է դարձել նրա լիազորություններն սկսվելուց ի վեր ամբողջ ժամանակաշրջանում:

Ընդամենն այսօրվա դրությամբ MERS-ի վիրուսից մահացել Է 24 մարդ: Եվս 166-ի մոտ հաստատվել Է այդ հիվանդության առկայությունը: Դրա հետ մեկտեղ Կորեայի իշխանությունները գտնում են, որ վիրուսի ակտիվ տարածումը հաջողվել Է կանգնեցնել:

Ավելի վաղ Կորեայի տուրիստական կազմակերպությունը հաղորդել Է, որ շուրջ 120 հազար օտարերկրյա զբոսաշրջիկներ են հրաժարվել Կորեայի Հանրապետություն ուղեւորությունից այդ երկրում մերձավորարեւելյան շնչառական համախտանիշի կորոնավիրուսի (MERS) տարածման պատճառով:

Նրա տվյալներով՝ միայն հունիսի առաջին տասն օրվա ընթացքում Հանրապետություն այցելող ճանապարհորդների թիվն անցյալ տարվա համապատասխան ժամանակաշրջանի համեմատությամբ կրճատվել է 20 տոկոսով: Այդ պատճառով երկրի տուրիստական սեկտորի կորուստները կազմել են առնվազն 11 մլն դոլար:

Հարավկորեական երկու խոշորագույն ավիաընկերությունները՝ Korean Air-ը եւ Asiana Airlines-ը, հաղորդել են Կորեայի Հանրապետությունում ավիատոմսերի պահանջարկի կտրուկ անկման մասին: Այդ կապակցությամբ Korean Air-ը պլանավորում է չեղյալ հայտարարել Հարավային Կորեան Չինաստանի հետ կապող 17 ավիաերթուղի՝ փոխադրումները կրճատելով 66 հազար ուղեւորատեղով: Asiana Airlines-ն արդեն չեղյալ է հայտարարել հունիսին պլանավորված 52 չվերթ:

Մինչդեռ Առողջապահության համաշխարհային կազմակերպությունը հայտարարել Է, որ  Կորեայի Հանրապետությունում MERS-ի հարուցած հիվանդության բռնկումը գլոբալ սպառնալիք չի ներկայացնում, այլ միայն ազդանշան Է ինֆեկցիոն հիվանդություններին հակազդելու գործում միջոցներ ձեռնարկելու համար: «Բռնկումն սթափվելու ազդանշան Է եւ նախազգուշացնում Է, որ չափազանց մոբիլ աշխարհում բոլոր երկրները պետք Է միշտ պատրաստ լինեն այդ եւ ինֆեկցիոն այլ լուրջ հիվանդությունների բռնկումներին»,-նշվում Է կազմակերպության հայտարարության մեջ:
