Բանն այն է, որ այդ օրը բեմում ելույթ էր ունենում Մարտիրոսյանի դուստրը: 10-ամյա Ժասմինն օրերս ավարտել է անգլերենի խորացված ուսուցմամբ դպրոցը: Զուգահեռ՝ աղջիկը հաճախել է հայտնի ստեղծագործական դպրոց, որտեղ զբաղվում է էստրադային վոկալով ու խորեոգրաֆիայով, ինչպես նաև յուրացնում է դերասանական վարպետության դասեր:

Զարմանալի չէ, որ աղջիկն ակտիվ մասնակցել է 2 ժամանոց համերգին, որը երեխաները պատրաստել էին իրենց ծնողների համար: Համադասարանցիների հետ Ժասմինը երգել է, պարել ու ոտանավորներ արտասանել:

«Աղջիկս ուրախացրել է ինձ ու կնոջս ոչ միայն՝ իր արտիստիզմով ու երաժշտականությամբ, այլև ուսման նկատմամբ լուրջ վերաբերմունքով: Իսկ դա պակաս կարևոր չէ, քան ստեղծագործական տաղանդի առկայությունը: Ինձ համար շատ հաճելի էր տեսնել նրա գնահատականները՝ դրանք հիմնականում գերազանց են:

Ընդ որում, ի տարբերություն ինձ՝ նա «գերազանց» ունի ոչ միայն այն առարկաներից, որ հեշտ են տրվում, այլև նրանցից, որոնց ուսումնասիրման համար հարկավոր է շատ ջանք գործադրել: Ես, իհարկե, չեմ պատմել Ժասմինին, բայց դպրոցում ես չէի կարող ինձ ստիպել բարձրացնել գնահատականներս այն առարկաներից, որոնք ինձ դուր չէին գալիս: Չսիրած դասագրքի առաջ մի քանի ժամ նստելը, շատ պարապելը, որ երեքը դառնա չորս, իմ ուժերից վեր էր, որքան էլ ջանում էին ուսուցիչներս ու խնդրում էին ծնողներս: Իսկ Ժասմինն այլ բնավորություն ունի՝ համառ է ու նստող, ու նա արդեն կարողանում է հաղթահարել դժվարությունները»,- համերգից հետո խոստովանել է երջանիկ հայրը:
