ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը հունիսի 26-ին ընդունել է Վրաստանի արդարադատության ու պատիժների կատարման և պրոբացիայի նախարարներ Թեա Ծուլուկիանիին և Գիորգի Մղեբրիշվիլիին: Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ Նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության եւ տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, երկրի ղեկավարը ողջունել է հյուրերին և նրանց մասնակցությամբ Երևանում կայացած հայ-վրացական իրավական համագործակցության առաջին ֆորումը: Գոհունակությամբ փաստելով, որ Հայաստանի և Վրաստանի միջև բարձր մակարդակի քաղաքական երկխոսությունը և տարբեր ուղղություններով համագործակցությունը տարեցտարի խորանում է, Սերժ Սարգսյանն ընդգծել է, որ դա լուրջ նախադրյալներ է ստեղծում գործընկերության նորանոր ուղղություններ նախանշելու համար: Այս համատեքստում Հանրապետության Նախագահը կարևորել է երկու երկրների իրավական ոլորտը ներկայացնող գերատեսչությունների միջև ձևավորված հարաբերություններ և հույս հայտնել, որ իրավական համագործակցության ֆորումը պարբերական բնույթ կկրի՝ իր ներդրումը բերելով հայ-վրացական բարեկամական կապերի առավել ամրապնդմանն ու զարգացմանը:

Սերժ Սարգսյանն ընդգծել է, որ հիշյալ գերատեսչությունների կողմից քննարկվող հարցերը հիմնականում վերաբերում են այն խնդիրներին, որոնց հետ առնչվում են Հայաստանի և Վրաստանի քաղաքացիները, ուստի կարևոր է, որ դրանք երկկողմ քննարկումների, փորձի փոխանակման շնորհիվ արդյունավետ լուծումներ ստանան, և քաղաքացիներն զգան կատարված բարելավումները:

Հանդիպման առիթով Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը ևս մեկ անգամ իր անկեղծ զորակցությունն է հայտնել Վրաստանի բարեկամ ժողովրդին՝ Թբիլիսիում տեղի ունեցած հեղեղումների ու տարերային աղետի կապակցությամբ և հույս հայտնել, որ Վրաստանի կառավարությունն ու Թբիլիսիի քաղաքային իշխանությունները կանեն ամեն հնարավորը՝ այդ աղետի հետևանքների շուտափույթ հաղթահարման համար: Հանրապետության Նախագահը Հայաստանի կողմից կրկին պատրաստակամություն է հայտնել՝ անհրաժեշտության դեպքում աջակցություն ցուցաբերել բարեկամ Վրաստանին:

Հանդիպմանը Սերժ Սարգսյանն ընդգծել է նաև, որ մեր երկիրը շահագրգռված է ԵԱՏՄ-ին անդամակցելուց և Վրաստանի՝ ԵՄ-ի հետ ասոցացման համաձայնագրի ստորագրումից հետո նոր պայմաններում շարունակել հայ-վրացական միջպետական հարաբերությունները զարգացնել և խորացնել:

Նախարարներ Թեա Ծուլուկիանին և Գիորգի Մղեբրիշվիլին ընդգծել են, որ Հայաստանի արդարադատության նախարարի Վրաստան կատարած այցի ժամանակ երկու երկրների միջև իրավական ոլորտում ձևավորված համագործակցության ներկայիս ձևաչափը մտադիր են պահպանել և ֆորումը դարձնել ավանդական, փորձի փոխանակում իրականացնել ու զարգացնել համագործակցությունը՝ ի նպաստ երկու բարեկամ երկրների:
