Միացյալ Նահանգների Վաշինգտոն քաղաքի բնակիչները հունիսի 28-ին հավաքվել են Ադրբեջանի դեսպանատան դիմաց` բողոքելով ադրբեջանական ագրեսիայի դեմ: «Արմենպրես»-ին այս մասին տեղեկացրին Հայ դատի ԱՄՆ հանձնախմբից` նշելով, որ հավաքը նվիրվել է ՀՀ Նախիջևանյան սահմանին հակառակորդի կրակոցից զոհված Արման Եփրեմյանի հիշատակին: «Մենք այսօր հավաքվել ենք Ադրբեջանի դեսպանատան դիմաց դատապարտելու Ադրբեջանի բռնապետ Իլհամ Ալիևի պարբերական հարձակումները Հայաստանի և Արցախի դեմ, ինչպես նաև` հիշելու Արման Եփրեմյանին և այն երիտասարդ կանանց և տղամարդկանց, ովքեր մեծ զոհողություններ են կատարել հայրենիքին` խաղաղություն և ազատություն, Կովկասի տարածաշրջանում` կայունություն ապահովելու համար»,- ասել է ՀՅԴ Սեբուհ կոմիտեի նախագահ Արամ Սաֆարյանը:

Նրա համոզմամբ` ոչ մի պետական հարաբերություն կամ Առաջին Եվրոպական խաղերի հյուրըկալումը չի կարող սքողել ադրբեջանական բռնությունները լրագրողների, իրավապաշտպան ակտիվիստների դեմ, շարունակական խախտումներն ու բռնությունները շփման գծում և հայ-արդբեջանական սահմանին:

ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խումբը պետք է դատապարտի Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Ալիևի հայատյաց գործելաոճը, իսկ Եվրոպական օլիմպիական հանձնաժողովը և սպորտային մյուս միջազգային կազմակերպությունները չպետք է թույլ տան բռնակալին մարզիկներին օգտագործել իր ոճրագործությունները, մարդու իրավունքների ոտնձգությունները քողարկելու համար:

Ադրբեջանական կողմը հունիսի 26-ին ժամը 18:30-ի սահմաններում ակտիվ կրակ է վարել ՀՀ Նախիջևանյան սահմանի Սյունիքի մարզի Գորհայք բնակավայրի հայկական դիրքերիուղղությամբ`կիրառելով նաև մեծ տրամաչափի զենքեր: Հայկական կողմի պատասխան կրակիցհետո հակառակորդը կրել է բազմաթիվ կորուստներ, սակայն մարտի ընթացքում ցավոք զոհվել էնաև ՀՀ ԶՈւզինծառայող շարքային պայմանագրային Արման Մայիսի Եփրեմյանը` ծնված 1987թ:Հատկանշական է, որ այդ հենակետերի հատվածում վերջին մեկ տարում կրակահերթերառհասարակ չէին եղել:
