Թուրքիայի սահմանադրական դատարանը չեղյալ է հայտարարել արդի իսլամի (նուրսիզմի) գաղափարախոս Ֆեթուլլահ Գյուլենի մասնավոր նախապատրատական դասընթացները փակելու մասին թուրքական կառավարության կողմից ընդունված որոշումը:

Ինչպես հաղորդում են թուրքական ԶԼՄ-ները, թուրքական կառավարության կողմից ավելի վաղ ընդունված օրենքի համաձայն` 2015 թվականի սեպտեմբերի 1-ից Թուրքիայում պետք է փակվեին Ֆեթուլլահ Գյուլենի մասնավոր նախապատրաստական դասընթացները, որոնք ժողովրդի կողմից անվանվում են «Գյուլենի դպրոցներ»:

Այն ժամանակ Թուրքիայի վարչապետ, ներկայիս նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը հանդես էր եկել մասնավոր նախապատրաստական դասընթացները փակելու մասին հայտարարությամբ: Դասընթացների փակումը հանդիսացել էր Ֆեթուլլահ Գյուլենի շարժման դեմ թուրքական կառավարության պայքարի բաղկացուցիչ մասը:

2013 թվականի դեկտեմբերի կեսերին այդ երկիրը ցնցած կոռուպցիոն սկանդալից անմիջապես հետո, որով բացահայտվել էին թուրքական կառավարության անդամների, այդ թվում` Էրդողանի որդու, փեսայի եւ դստեր խոշոր կոռուպցիոն գործարքները, վերջինս հայտարարել էր, որ դրա հետեւում կանգնած են ԱՄՆ-ում վտարանդի  Ֆաթուլլահ Գյուլենի հետեւորդները, որոնք ցանկանում են տապալել իր կառավարությունը: Էրդողանի հանձնարարությամբ աշխատանքից հեռացվել կամ ձերբակալվել են այդ կոռուպցիոն սկանդալը բացահայտած հազարից ավելի փաստաբաններ, դատախազության եւ ոստիկանության աշխատակից ներ: Իրավապահ եւ դատական համակարգերը գյուլենականներից «մաքրելու» գործընթացը Թուրքիայում շարունակվում է մինչ օրս:      

Թուրք կրոնական գործիչ Ֆաթուլլահ Գյուլենը հայտնի է իսլամի իր չափավոր մեկնաբանությամբ: Գյուլենը նախկինում եղել է Էրդողանի դաշնակիցը, սակայն նրանց հարաբերությունները փչացել են 2013 թվականի դեկտեմբերին Էրդողանի մերձավոր շրջապատի անդամների նկատմամբ աղմկալից կոռուպցիոն բացահայտումներից հետո, ինչում Թուրքիայի առաջնորդը մեղադրել է Գյուլենի հետեւորդներին: Այժմ Էրդողանը փորձում է հասնել ԱՄՆ-ից Գյուլենի արտահանձնմանը, որտեղ նա բնակվում է 1998 թվականից: Գյուլենն, իր հերթին, դարձել է Էրդողանի առավել նշանակալից քննադատներից մեկը:
