ՀՀ սպորտի և երիտասարդության հարցերի նախարար Գաբրիել Ղազարյանն այսօր հանդիպել է Եվրոպայի օլիմպիական կոմիտեի ներկայացուցիչներ Բերի Գրինին և Կատարինա Սթայնբերգին, ովքեր համակարգել են Հայաստանի մասնակցության հետ կապված աշխատանքներն առաջին Եվրոպական խաղերի ընթացքում:

Նախարարը ողջունել է հյուրերին և ի դեմս հյուրերի շնորհակալություն հայտնել Եվրոպական կոմիտեին, անձամբ ԵՎՕԿ-ի նախագահ Պատրիկ Հիկեին եվրոպական խաղերում մեր պատվիրակության յուրաքանչյուր անդամի համար բարենպաստ պայմաններ և հայ մարզիկների՝ առանց անհարկի խոչընդոտների մրցելույթներն ապահովելու համար: «Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունը, լինելով ՄՕԿ-ի և ԵՎՕԿ-ի անդամ, իրեն ապահով և անվտանգ է զգում՝ որպես մի մեծ ընտանիքի անբաժանելի մաս: Այդ հանգամանքի և մեծ վստահության արդյունքն է 2015 թ. Եվրոպական խաղերում Միհրան Հարությունյանի նվաճած արծաթե մեդալ ը, ինչպես նաև մյուս հայ մարզիկների արդյունքները, որոնք ընդհուպ մոտեցել էին մրցանակային տեղերին»,- ասել է նախարարը և հավելել, որ այդ ամենին հնարավոր է եղել հասնել ՀՀ սպորտի և երիտասարդության հարցերի նախարարության ու Հայաստանի ազգային օլիմպիական կոմիտեի համատեղ աշխատանքի շնորհիվ: Բերի Գրինը, շնորհակալություն հայտնելով Գ. Ղազարյանին ջերմ ընդունելության համար, ասել է, որ չնայած եվրոպական խաղերի ընթացքում եղած սուբյեկտիվ դժվարություններին՝ հայ մարզիկները պատվով են դուրս եկել մրցահարթակ և արժանավայել պահվածքով ներկայացրել իրենց հայր ենիքը: «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ, հանդիպմանը ներկա էին նաև առաջին Եվրոպական խաղերի Հայաստանի օլիմպիական պատվիրակության ղեկավար, ՀԱՕԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղար Հրաչյա Ռոստոմյանը և փոխնախագահ Դերենիկ Գաբրիելյանը:
