Վարչապետ Հովիկ Աբրահամյանը Վրաստան կատարած աշխատանքային այցի շրջանակում հուլիսի 26-ին մասնակցել է Եվրոպական երիտասարդական օլիմպիական փառատոնի բացման արարողությանը: Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ կառավարության տեղեկատվության եւ հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, մինչ այդ վարչապետ Աբրահամյանն այցելել է օլիմպիական գյուղ, հանդիպել Եվրոպական երիտասարդական օլիմպիական փառատոնի ն Հայաստանը ներկայացնող պատվիրակության անդամներին:

Հայկական պատվիրակության հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ վարչապետն ասել է, որ եկել է ոգևորելու ու հաղթանակ մաղթելու հայ մարզիկներին: «Այս հանդիպման համար շատ ուրախ եմ և եկել եմ անձամբ ձեզ հաջողություն և հաղթանակ մաղթելու: Միաժամանակ, օգտվելով առիթից, ցանկանում եմ իմանալ, թե  ինչ խնդիրներ ունեք, ինչով ես կարող եմ աջակցել ձեզ»,- նշել է վարչապետը:

Հայ մարզիկներն ու մարզիչները նշել են, որ վարչապետի ներկայությունն արդեն իսկ շատ կարևոր է ու ոգևորիչ, և իրենք ամեն ինչ անելու են հաղթելու, մեդալներ նվաճելու համար:

Վարչապետն ասել է, որ կարևորում է Հայաստանում սպորտի զարգացումը ու պատրաստ է քննարկել սպորտի զարգացման հետ կապված ցանկացած առաջարկ:

Սպորտի ու երիտասարդության հարցերի նախարար Գաբրիել Ղազարյանն իր հերթին նշել է, որ վարչապետի ներկայությունն ու քաջալերանքը թիմի համար շատ կարևոր են և հիշեցրել, որ վարչապետի նախաձեռնությամբ 2015թ. պետական բյուջեում մարզադպրոցներին և ազգային ֆեդերացիաներին, անկախ գերատեսչական պատկանելությունից, 170 մլն ԱՄՆ դոլարին համարժեք մարզագույք է հատկացվել, ինչը սպորտի զարգացման համար կարևոր դերակատարություն ունի: Գաբրիել Ղազարյանը նշել է նաև, որ  եվրոպացի շատ մարզիկներ, ովքեր այսօր մեծ հաջողություններ են գրանցում, ժամանակին մասնակցել են այս փա ռատոնին:

Մարզական փառատոնին մասնակցում է 49 երկրի պատվիրակություն: Փառատոնն անցկացվում է 2 տարին մեկ. այս տարի այն նախատեսված է անցկացնել հուլիսի 26-ից օգոստոսի 1-ը: Ներկայացված 9 մարզաձևերից Հայաստանը մասնակցում է 6-ին. 6 մարզիկ մասնակցում է ձյուդոյի մրցաշարի, 3-ը՝ մարմնամարզության, 3-ը՝ ատլետիկայի, 3-ը՝ լողի, 4-ը՝ թենիսի, 3-ը՝ հեծանվային սպորտի: Ընդհանուր առմամբ` Հայաստանը ներկայացնում է 22 մարզիկ:

Նույն օրը Վրաստանի կառավարության ղեկավար Իրակլի Ղարիբաշվիլիի անունից Եվրոպական երիտասարդական օլիմպիական փառատոնին մասնակից պատվիրակությունների ղեկավարների պատվին տրվել է պաշտոնական ճաշ:
