Երեխաների պաշտպանության հարցերում ԱՄՆ-ն ու Հայաստանն առաջնորդվում են նույն արժեքներով. դեսպան

ՀՀ-ում ԱՄՆ դեսպանությունը հուլիսի 28-ին կազմակերպել էր համաժողով ծնողների կողմից երեխաների առևանգման միջազգային խնդիրների, Հաագայի կոնվենցիայի շրջանակում իրականացվող որդեգրումների և երեխաների սեռական շահագործման հարցերի շուրջ: Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ-ում ԱՄՆ դեսպանատնից, համաժողովին մասնակցել են դատավորներ, դատախազներ, քննիչներ, փաստաբաններ, պատգամավորներ և հասարակական կազմակերպություններ Հայաստանից: Համաժողովի նպատակն էր մեծացնել քննությունների անցկացման, քրեական հետապնդման և դատավարական կարողություններն այնպիսի հանցանքների մասով, որոնցում ներգրավված են անչափահաս տուժողներ, ինչպես նաև մշակել անչափահաս տուժողների պաշտպանության համար անհրաժեշտ օրենքներ ու քննարկել երեխաներին առնչվող ազգային սոցիալական բարեփոխումները:

Հայաստանի պետական ու հասարակական կառույցները բարձր ներկայացուցչական կազմով են մասնակցել համաժողովին, ինչը փաստում է խնդրի շուրջ Հայաստանի լուրջ ու ծանրակշիռ մոտեցումը: Քննարկումը մեկնարկել է ՀՀ-ում ԱՄՆ դեսպան Ռիչարդ Միլսի խոսքով, ապա մասնակիցներին իր ողջույնի խոսքն է հղել ՀՀ արդարադատության նախարարի տեղակալ Վիգեն Քոչարյանը: Համաժողովին մասնակցել են ՀՀ դատական համակարգի, Գլխավոր դատախազության, Արդարադատության նախարարության  և Քննչական կոմիտեի բարձրաստիճան ներկայացուցիչներ:

Ողջունելով մասնակիցներին՝ դեսպան Միլսը նշել է, որ համաժողովը երեխաների պաշտպանության  հարցերի շուրջ փորձի փոխանակման հնարավորություն է ընձեռում, թույլ է տալիս դասեր քաղել միմյանց հաջողություններից ու սխալներից  և գտնել համագործակցության ուղիներ այնպիսի իրավիճակներում, երբ առերեսվում ենք երեխաներին առնչվող դժվարին իրավիճակների հետ: Ընդունելով, որ երեխաների պաշտպանության հարցերում Միացյալ Նահանգներն ու Հայաստանն առաջնորդվում են նույն արժեքներով, նա նկատել է, որ որպես գործընկերներ ջանքերը համատեղելով` հնար ավոր է այնպես անել, որ հասարակության ամենախոցելի  օղակը՝  երեխաները  (հայաստանաբնակ և Հայաստանը տարանցող) առավել պաշտպանված լինեն այն անձանցից, ովքեր փորձում են առևանգել կամ շահագործել երեխաներին՝ օգտվելով նրանց խոցելի իրավիճակից:  Եզրափակելով՝ դեսպան Միլսը գովեստի խոսքեր է ասել համաժողովի մասնակիցներին, ովքեր լծված են երեխաների պաշտպանության գործին:

Համաժողովը կազմակերպվել էր ՀՀ-ում ԱՄՆ դեսպանության, ԱՄՆ Արդարադատության նախարարության և ԱՄՆ Միջազգային զարգացման գործակալության աջակցությամբ:
