Кейт Миддлтон известна своим сдержанным стилем, который она во многомзаимствует у принцессы Дианы. Что же касается внешнего вида герцогини, то Кейт не пользуется услугами стилистов и визажистов и сама выбирает свои образы, которые, впрочем, довольно консервативны. В 2002-м году Миддлтон познакомилась с принцем Уильямом, будучи обычной студенткой. Девушка совсем не красилась и предпочитала укладки в стиле хиппи - такой ее встретил будущий муж. 

Спустя четыре года отношений Кейт стала выходить в свет. Ее образ в значительной мере изменился. Девушка сменила кудряшки на лаконичные локоны, в макияже стала выделять глаза и отрастила естественную форму бровей, которая, кстати, будет в моде наступающей осенью.

Позже герцогиня отстригла челку, которую стала укладывать на бок, и выработала для себя знаковый макияж с темными глазами в технике smokey eyes, розовыми румянами и нюдовой помадой. 

В 2011 году состоялось торжественное бракосочетание Кейт и принца Уильяма. В новом статусе герцогиня стала все чаще появляться на публике с убранными волосами. Последнее новшество в образе Кейт - это челка, которую она вновь отстригла этим летом.
