Աշխարհում տիրող միգրացիոն ճգնաժամը խոշորագույնն Է Երկրորդ համաշխարհային պատերազմի ժամանակներից:

Այդ մասին լրագրողներին հայտարարել Է միգրացիայի, ներքին գործերի եւ քաղաքացիության հարցերով եվրակոմիսար Դիմիտրիս Ավրամոպուլոսը:

Այսօր աշխարհը բախվել Է Երկրորդ համաշխարհային պատերազմի ժամանակներից ի վեր փախստականների հետ կապված վատթարագույն ճգնաժամին: Եվրոպան փորձում Է գլուխ հանել մարդկանց մեծ հոսքից, որոնք ապաստան են փնտրում մեր սահմաններում»,-ասել Է նա մամուլի ասուլիսում: Եվրակոմիսարը նշել Է, որ ինչպես եւ Եվրահանձնաժողովի նախագահ Ժան Կլոդ Յունկերը, ինքը նույնպես անհանգստացած Է ԵՄ-ի անդամ երկրներում միգրանտների հետ կապված իրադրությունից:  

Նա նշել Է, որ այս տարվա հուլիսին Հունաստան են ժամանել գրեթե 50 հազար միգրանտներ, որոնց թիվն անցյալ տարվա համապատասխան ժամանակաշրջանում կազմում Էր 6 հազար: Իր հերթին Հունգարիան, ուր միգրանտները ժամանում են Բալկանյան թերակղզուց, հուլիսին ընդունել Է 35 հազար մարդ: Դրա հետ մեկտեղ եվրակոմիսարը նշել Է, որ «միգրանտների խնդրի լուծումը նախեւառաջ ԵՄ-ի անդամ երկրների սուվերեն պատասխանատվությունն Է»:

Ավելի վաղ Միգրացիայի միջազգային կազմակերպության (ՄՄԿ) մամուլի քարտուղար Ջոել Միլմանը հայտնել Է, որ 2015 թվականի սկզբից Եվրոպայում ավելի լավ կյանք գտնելու նպատակով Միջերկրական ծովը հատած անօրինական ներգաղթյալների թվաքանակը կազմել Է  250 հազար: «Միգրանտների եւ ապաստան փնտրողների թվաքանակը, ովքեր Եվրոպա են ժամանել ծովային ճանապարհներով, ՄՄԿ-ի հետազոտությունների համաձայն, ներկայում մոտենում Է քառորդ միլիոնին»,-ասել Է նա:

Միլմանը հավելել Է, որ «անօրինական միգրանտների իրական թիվը կարող Է ավելի մեծ լինել, քանի որ տվյալները շարունակում են ստացվել, հաղորդել Է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
