ՀՀ վարչապետ Հովիկ Աբրահամյանը հայ-վրացական հարաբերությունները գնահատում է ջերմ և նշում, որ չկա որևէ հարց, որի շուրջ կողմերը պայմանավորվարության չհանգեն: Այդ մասին վարչապետը նշեց Ծաղկաձորում մեկնարկած «Բազե» ամենամյա հավաքի մասնակիցների հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ:

Խոսելով երկու հարևան երկրների հարաբերությունների մասին՝ վարչապետն ընդգծեց, որ դրանք հիմնված են ջերմության և ընկերության վրա: «Վրաստանի վարչապետի հետ պայմանավորվածություն ենք ձեռք բերել, որպեսզի այս տարվա ընթացքում միասին այցելենք Ջավախք, ծանոթանանք առկա խնդիրներին և փորձենք լուծել դրանք: Առաջիկայում կառուցվելու է հայ-վրացական «Բարեկամության» կամուրջը՝ երկու երկրների սահմանագոտում, որի ծախսերի կեսը վրացական կառավարությունը վերցրել է իր վրա: Վրաստան կատարած իմ վերջին այցի ընթացքում եղանք նաև Վերին Լ արսի անցկատեում, որտեղ այժմ իրականացվում են լուսավարության անցկացման և 1,5 կմ երկարությամբ ճանապարհի հիմնանորոգման աշխատանքներ: Դա թույլ կտա, որպեսզի հայկական ապրանքները ավելի դյուրին կերպով արտահանենք ՌԴ և այլ երկրներ»,- հայտնեց Հովիկ Աբրահամյանը:

Երկու հարևան երկրների միջև կառուցվելու են նաև երկու էլեկտրահաղորդման գծեր, որոնք կնպաստեն էլեկտրաէներգիայի արտահանմանն ու տնտեսական կապերի ընդլայնմանը: Հովիկ Աբրահամյանի խոսքով՝ երկու երկրները պետք է փորձեն ավելի ամրապնդել կապերը:
