Հայաստանի ու Իրանի իսլամական հանրապետության միջեւ զարգացող հարաբերությունները կարող են դառնալ եզակի մոդել, թե ինչպես է հնարավոր հասնել երկու տարբեր կրոններ եւ սովորույթներ ունեցող հասարակությունների միջեւ համագործակցությանն ու բարեկամական հարաբերությունների: Տեսակետը իրանահայ համայնքի մտավորական, գրող, քարտեզաբան Ռուբեն Գալչյանինն է: Նրա գնահատմամբ` հատկապես ԻԻՀ-ի նկատմամբ պատժամիջոցների վեր ացումից հետո հայ-իրանական տնտեսական հարաբերությունները պետք է ավելի զարգանան:

«Հայ-իրանական հարաբերություններն, անշուշտ, պետք է զարգանան եւ հատկապես հիմա, երբ Արեւմուտքի եւ Իրանի հարաբերությունները կարգավորվում են, պետք է լուրջ քայլեր կատարել այդ ուղղությամբ»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հարցին ի պատասխան ասաց Գալչյանը` հավելելով, որ եթե կառուցվի Հյուսիս-Հարավ ճանապարհն ու ներդրումներ գտնվեն հայ-իրանական երկաթգծի կառուցման համար, ապա Հայաստանը կդառնա տարանցիկ պետություն, որը Եվրոպան կկապի Ասիայի հետ:

«Սա շատ լավ կլինի Հայաստանի համար, քանի որ Եվրոպան կկապվի Ասիայի հետ, եւ դա ձեռնտու է բոլոր կողմերին: Աշխարհաքաղաքական լուրջ պատճառներ կան եւ հենց դրանով է պայմանավորված, որ Չինաստանը ցանկանում է կյանքի կոչել «Մետաքսի ճանապարհ» նախագիծն ու ներդրումներ կատարել հայ-իրանական երկաթգծի կառուցման նախագծում: Այս գաղափարը կարող է ձեռնտու լինել նաեւ Եվրոպային, քանի որ այդ կերպ Հին Աշխարհն ավելի կմոտենա Իրանին եւ Ասիային ընդհանրապես»- ասաց Գալչյանը:

Նա շեշտում է, որ հարաբերությունների ամրապնդմանը զուգահեռ երկու երկրների ժողովուրդները պետք է միմյանց առավել մեծ չափով ճանաչեն: Եթե Իրանի ժողովուրդը գիտի հայերին, նրանց մշակույթն ու սովորույթները, ապա հայ ժողովուրդն իր հարեւանին քիչ է ծանոթ:

«Հայերի համար Իրանն ընկալվում է միատարր մի պետություն, ինչն այդպես չէ»,- ասաց Գալչյանը` հավելելով, որ միմյանց չճանաչելն անջրպետ է, որ կարող է խանգարել հարաբերությունների խորացմանը:

Երկրաբան Արա Կարապետյանն էլ հավելում է, որ օրենսդրական դաշտում պետք է կատարվեն փոփոխություններ, որպեսզի գործարարների համար ավելի նպաստավոր պայմաններ ստեղծվեն ներդրումներ կատարելու եւ բիզնես ծրագրեր մշակելու համար:
