Թբիլիսիի կենդանաբանական այգին, որի մեծ մասն ավերվել Է հունիսի կեսերին տեղի ունեցած տարերային աղետի հետեւանքով, աշխատանքը կվերսկսի սեպտեմբերին: Ինչպես նշել Է այգու տնօրեն Զուրաբ Գուրիելիձեն, կաշխատի այգու այն մասը, որը չի խաթարվել ջրհեհեղից, եւ որի մաքրումն արդեն ավարտված Է:

Թբիլիսիում կարկուտի եւ քամու ուղեկցությամբ հորդառատ անձրեւներ են տեղացել լույս հունիսի 14-ի գիշերը: Տարերքի մոլեգնելու հետեւանքով վնասվել են բնակելի շենքեր, ճանապարհներ, ենթակառուցվածքի օբյեկտներ, գրեթե ամբողջովին ավերվել Է Վրաստանի մայրաքաղաքի կենդանաբանական այգու տարածքը: Այգու 600 բնակիչներից փրկվել Է կեսից պակասը: Կենդանիների մի մասը հայտնվել Է փողոցում, այդ թվում՝ գիշատիչներ:

«Ներկայում դեռեւս շարունակվում են վերականգնողական աշխատանքները եւ կենդանաբանական այգու տարածքի մաքրումը: Մաքրումը գրեթե ավարտված Է, բայց դեռեւս կան ոչ քիչ աշխատանքներ, որոնք պետք Է ավարտվեն: Սեպտեմբերին կենդանաբանական այգին կբացվի, կաշխատի այն մասը, որը զերծ Է մնացել հեղեղումից»,-ասել Է Գուրիելիձեն լրագրողներին:

Նրա խոսքով՝ պլանավորվոոմ Է, որ կենդանաբանական այգին կհամալրվի մի քանի նոր կենդանիներով, այդ թվում՝ կապիկներով: «Միակ բանը, որ մեզ խանգարում Է կենդանիներ բերել, այն Է, որ վանդակների մեծ մասը քանդված Է»,-ասել Է նա:

Ինչպես հավելել Է կենդանաբանական այգու փոխտնօրեն Դավիթ Տակտակիշվիլին, նոր կենդանաբանական այգին, որը քաղաքապետարանի որոշմամբ բացվելու Է Թբիլիսիի արվարձանում, ենթադրաբար կհայտնվիի երկու-երեք տարի անց եւ կզբաղեցնի 47 հեկտար տարածք:

Ավելի վաղ Թբիլիսիի քաղաքագլուխ Դավիթ Նարմանիան հայտարարել Է, որ Վրաստանի մայրաքաղաքում նոր կենդանաբանական այգու նախագիծն արդեն պատրաստ Է, իսկ շինարարությունը կսկսվի 2016 թվականի գարնանը:
