Կորեայի Հանրապետությունում սկսվել են անցյալ տարի Դեղին ծովում խորտակված «Սեւոլ» լաստանավի բարձրացման նախապատրաստման աշխատանքները: Ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով ծովային եւ ձկնային տնտեսության նախարարությանը, Չինաստանի ShanghaiSalvage («Շանհայ սելվիջ») ընկերության ջրասուզորդները, որը շահել Է հայտամրցույթը, օգոստոսի 19-ին կատարել են առաջին սուզումը խո տակման տեղում՝ ճշտելու նավի դիրքը: Ջրասուզորդները նաեւ պետք Է լաստանավը ծածկեն վիթխարի ցանցերով, որոնք բաձրացնելիս չեն թողնի, որ վերջինիս պարունակությունն ընկնի ծովը եւ կոչի:    

«Սեւոլի» բարձրացումը սովորական շարքային գործողություն չԷ, որոնք հարյուրներով անցկացվում են ամեն տարի: Այն ցուցադրում Է Հարավային Կորեայի կառավարության վճռականությունը գտնելու եւ վեր բաձրացնելու այն ինն ուղեւորների մարմինները, որոնք մինչ օրս համարվում են անհայտ կորածներ»,- հայտարարել Է ծովային եւ ձկնային տնտեսության նախարար Յու Կի Չժունը աշխատանքների սկսվելուն նվիրված միջոցառման ժամանակ:     

Նրա խոսքով՝ նախապատրաստական փուլը կտեւի շուրջ երկու ամիս: Անմիջականորեն նավի բարձրացման գործողությունը կսկսվի հաջորդ տարվա հուլիսին: Պարտավորագրի արժեքը կազմում Է 71,7 միլիոն դոլար:

Նավը ջրասույզ Է եղել 2014 թվականի ապրիլին Ինչհոն նավահանգստից Չեջուդո առողջարանային կղզի տանող ճանապարհին: Աղետի հետեւանքով զոհվել Է առնվազն 304 մարդ, հիմնականում դպրոցականներ եւ ուսանողներ, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ գործակալությունը:
