Հայ-ադրբեջանական եւ արցախա-ադրբեջանական սահմանին իրավիճակը ոչ պատերազմ է, ոչ խաղաղություն, եւ այդ փխրուն խաղաղության պահպանողները ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահներն են: «Ես դրական եմ գնահատում ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի գործունեությունը` հասկանալով, որ յուրաքանչյուր հակամարտության կարգավորում պահանջում է ժամանակ, իսկ ղարաբաղյան հակամարտությունը` հատկապես, քանի որ ներառում է բազմաթիվ պրÕ �բլեմներ»,-«Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ` նշեց ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Սեյրան Օհանյանը` հավելելով, որ ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի ձեւաչափը պետք է պահպանվի եւ աշխատանքը պետք է շարունակվի նույն կարգավիճակով:

«Մենք չենք կարծում, որ ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի պետությունների ցանկում պետք է փոփոխություններ կատարվեն: Թեպետ կան բազմաթիվ առաջարկություններ, այդ թվում` այնպիսի երկրների ընդգրկման վերաբերյալ, որոնք կլինեն ոչ օբյեկտիվ հակամարտության կարգավորման հարցում»,- ընդգծեց Սեյրան Օհանյանը` հավելելով, որ ներկա դրությամբ Մինսկի խմբի ակտիվությունը նվազել է, քանի որ համանախագահող երկրների միջեւ առկա է քաղաքական եւ տնտեսական տարակարծություն:
