Վենետիկի հանձնաժողովի և քաղաքական կուսակցությունների ու հասարակական կազմակերպության ներկայացուցիչների հետ հանդիպումը շատերի համար ոչինչ չասող էր: Քաղաքական տարբեր ուժերի ներկայացուցիչները կարծում են, որ այն պարզապես ֆորմալ բնույթի էր եւ որեւէ բան չփոխող:

Orer.am-ը վերը նշված հանդիպման վերաբերյալ զրուցեց ԱԺ ՀՀԿ խմբակցության պատգամավոր Լեռնիկ Ալեքսանյանի հետ՝ ճշտելու վերջինիս գնահատականը՝ կապված քննարկումների հետ: Վերջինս կարծում է, որ տեղի քաղաքական ուժերի եւ տարբեր կառույցների ներկայացուցիչները բավական մեծ շեշտադրում են կատարում Վենետիկի հանձնաժողովի վրա՝ մոռանալով դրա բուն գործառույթի մասին: «Հանդիպման ժամանակ պարզ դարձավ, որ Վենետիկի հանձնաժողովին մենք շատ մեծ տեղ ենք տալիս: Պատգամավորները, ընդդիմադիրները, հասարակական կազմակերպությունների ներկայացուցիչները այդ հանձնաժողովին դատավորի տեղ են դնում: Սակայն, ի պատասխան այս ամենի, հանձնաժողովը հայտարարեց, որ իրենք պարզապես համեմատում են Սահմանադրության փոփոխված տարբերակը եվրոպական չափանիշների հետ: Իսկ թե Հայաստանում ինչ վիճակ է, այդ նախաձեռնությունը կաշխատի մեր երկրում թե ոչ, ինչ կերպ է արձագանքում այդ ամենին հայ ժողովուրդը, դա այլ հարց է»,- նշեց Լ. Ալեքսանյանը:

Պատգամավորը նաեւ ուշադրություն դարձրեց հայ ժողովրդի ազգային եւ հոգեւոր արժեքների դեմ խոսող Վենետիկի հանձնաժողովի կողմից արված առաջարկների մասին: «Հանձնաժողովի հետ որեւէ կապ չունի հայի հոգեկերտվածքը, ավանդույթները եւ այլն: Վենետիկի հանձնաժողովը ոչ թե քաղաքական, այլ մասնագիտական մարմին է: Մենք այդ հանձնաժողովին շատ ու շատ ավելի նշանակություն ենք տալիս, քան հարկավոր է: Շատերն ասում են՝ տեսեք հանձնաժողովն այսպես ասաց, ուրեմն ճիշտ է, կամ այլ կերպ ասացին, որովհետեւ եվրոպական քաղաքականությունն է այդպես թելադրում: Ինչ-որ գնահատականներ կապելը Վենետիկի հանձնաժողովի հետ ճիշտ չէ: Պետք չէ մոռանալ, որ կառույցը պարզապես համեմատում է փաստաթուղթը փաստաթղթի հետ»,- ասաց վերջինս:

Ըստ Լ. Ալեքսանյանի` հասարակությունը, քաղաքական ուժերն իրենք պետք է որոշեն, թե փոփոխված Սահմանադրության որ կետերն են պիտանի եւ աշխատող եւ որ կետերը` ոչ: Իսկ Վենետիկի հանձնաժողովի ընդհանուր գնահատականի մասին զրուցակիցը նշեց, որ ընդհանուր առմամբ նրանց գնահատականը հետեւյալն է` տվյալ Սահմանադրությունը չի խոչընդոտում ժողովրդավարության զարգացմանը: «Փոփոխությունները նրանք որակեցին որպես առաջընթաց»,- ասաց պատգամավորը:
