Հնդկաստանում ՀՀ դեսպան Արմեն Մարտիրոսյանն oգոստոսի 28-ին իր հավատարմագրերն է հանձնել Հնդկաստանի նախագահ Պրանաբ Մուկերջիին: Ինչպես Արմենպրեսին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության եւ հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից, հավատարմագրերի հանձնման հանդիսավոր արարողությունից հետո տեղի է ունեցել դեսպանի առանձնազրույցը Հնդկաստանի նախագահի հետ:

Նախագահ Մուկերջիին գոհունակություն է հայտնել Հայաստանի և Հնդկաստանի միջև առկա բարեկամական և փոխշահավետ հարաբերությունների կապակցությամբ։ Նախագահը նշել է երկու երկրների միջև փոխհարաբերությունների զարգացման համար զգալի ներուժի առկայությունը, ինչպես նաև հավաստել, որ քաղաքական, տնտեսական, մշակութային ոլորտներում համագործակցության ընդլայնումը շահավետ է երկու երկրների համար: Նախագահ Մուկերջին իր խոսքում ընդգծել Հնդկաստանի կյանքի տարբեր բնագավառներում պատմականորեն հայերի ցուցաբերած մասնակցության և դերակատարման նշանակությունը:

Դեսպան Մարտիրոսյանը իր հերթին նշել է, որ Հայաստանի կառավարությունը ցանկանում է խորացնել Հնդկաստանի հետ հարաբերությունները բոլոր բնագավառներում։ Նա կարևորել է համատեղ նախագծերի իրականացման ուղղությամբ հետևողականության ցուցաբերումը և հավելել, որ Հայաստանը և Հնդկաստանը, բացի երկկողմ համագործակցությունից, լավագույնս փոխգործակցում են նաև միջազգային ասպարեզում: Դեսպան Մարտիրոսյանը նշել է, որ անհրաժեշտ է ակտիվացնել շփումերը զբոսաշրջային կարողությունների և գիտական ու համալսարանական փոխադարձ կապերի ընդլայնման և խորացման ուղղությամ բ:

Զրույցի ավարտին Հնդկաստանի նախագահը խնդրել է ՀՀ դեսպանին իր ջերմ ողջույնները փոխանցել ՀՀ նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանին: Հաջողություն մաղթելով դեսպան Մարտիրոսյանին իր գործունեության մեջ` Հնդկաստանի նախագահը հույս հայտնել, որ նրա առաքելության ընթացքում երկկողմ հարաբերությունները բոլոր ոլորտներում առավել կընդլայնվեն և կխորանան:
