UWC Դիլիջան քոլեջը նոր ուսումնական տարում դռներն է բացել 94 ուսանողների առջեւ

 UWC Dilijan College  ը նոր ուսումնական տարում դռներն է բացել ևս 94 ուսանողի առջև, ովքեր սկսում են ուսումնառությունը Միջազգային բակալավրիատի (IB Diploma) երկամյա ծրագրով: Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին «Հայաստանի զարգացման նախաձեռնություններ» (IDeA) հիմնադրամի հանրային կապերի բաժ նից, 2015-2016  ուսումնական տարում քոլեջը կունենա արդեն երկու հոսք` ապահովելով զարգացման առաջին փուլի համար նախատեսված կրթական ծրագրի ամբողջականությունը:

Նոր ուսումնական տարում քոլեջում ընդհանուր առմամբ կսովորի 190 ուսանող՝ աշխարհի 64 երկրից: Նրանցից  21-ը Հայաստանից ու Արցախից են, որոնցից 11-ն ընդունվել են այս տարի: Համալրվել է նաեւ դասախոսական կազմը. հրավիրվել են 17 մասնագետներ՝  նոր առարկաների դասավանդման համար:

«Մեր քոլեջի հիմնադիրներին UWC շարժման  եւ Միջազգային բակալավրիատի հետ միավորում  է այն ընդհանուր համոզմունքը, որ  բարձրորակ կրթության մեջ այսօր ներդրում կատարելով՝  ապագայում խաղաղության, արդարության եւ բարեկեցության հասնելու հույս ենք տածում: Այդ իսկ պատճառով  ջանքներ, ժամանակ ու միջոցներ ենք ներդնում ինչպես դասարանական, այնպես էլ արտադասարանական ուսուցման մեջ, եւ ակնկալում ենք, որ UWC Dilijan College-ում ձեռք բերված փորձը կվեափոխի բոլորիս ու կոգեշնչի կյանքը նվիրել հանրությանը, սեփական երկրին ու ողջ աշխարհին ծառայելու գործին»,- ողջունելով ուսանողներին ու  դասախոսական կազմին` նշել է քոլեջի տնօրեն Ջոն Փադըֆութը:

UWC Dilijan College -ի հիմնադիրների խորհրդի նախագահ Վերոնիկա Զոնաբենդը նշել է, որ կրթությունն ու դպրոցը  միայն շենքը չեն. «Գլխավորը ուսուցիչներն ու ուսանողներն են, ովքեր գալիս են այստեղ: Քոլեջի տնօրեն Ջոն Փադըֆութին հաջողվել է դասախոսների հետաքրքիր թիմ հավաքել, եւ UWC-ի ընդունելության  բացառիկ համակարգի շնորհիվ մեզ մոտ ուսանելու են գալիս տաղանդավոր, վառ, յուրահատուկ երեխաներ: Ձեզ սպասվում է շատ հետաքրքիր, թեև ոչ հեշտ աշխատանք. ստանալ ոչ միայն ակադեմիական գիտելիքներ, այլեւ բազմամշակութային միջավայրում ապրելու փորձ ձեռք բերել, որը, աշուշտ, կվերափոխի ձեր անհատականությունը: Ուրախ եմ, որ այդ աշխատանքը տարվում է ոչ միայն քոլեջում, այլեւ նրա սահմաններից  դուրս, քանի որ UWC Dilijan College -ը Դիլիջան քաղաքի անբաժանելի մասն է: Քաղաքի կյանքում արդեն տեսանելի են փոփոխությունները, որոնք տեղի են ունենում ուսանողների եւ տեղի երիտասարդների համագործակցության  շնորհիվ  եւ, հուսով եմ, այդ արդյունքները կայուն ու երկարատեւ կլինեն»:

Այս տարի  ամբողջությամբ ավարտվել  են շինարարական եւ ներքին հարդարման աշխատաները առաջին հերթի ուսումնական  եւ բնակելի մասնաշենքերում եւ ստեղծված են միջազգային մակարդակի կրթական հաստատությանը բնորոշ  բոլոր պայմանները:  

2015թվականին  UWC Dilijan College-ի շենքը միջազգային մի շարք  հեղինակավոր  մրցանակների է արժանացել՝ դառնալով «International Property Awards -2015»  մրցույթի դափնեկիր՝ «Public Services Development»  անվանակարգում (եվրոպական տարածաշրջանում) եւ IGRA «Green Roof Leadership Awards-2015»-ի դափնեկիր՝ «Trendsetting Architecture» անվանակարգում: Այն դարձել է նաեւ ԱՊՀ տարածքում միակ կրթական հաստատությունը, որն արժանացել  է BREEAM-ի հավաստագրի՝ էկոլոգիական շինարարության  համար: «Քոլեջի նոր շենքերն ու հնարավորություններն իսկապես հրաշալի են: Մեր այցելուներից շատերեն են նշում, որ կցանկանային երիտասարդ լինել եւ սովորել այստեղ: Քոլեջը տեղակայված է չքնաղ բնություն ունեցող եւ հյուրընկալ երկրում ու ոչնչով չի զիջում աշխարհի լավագույն  նմանատիպ կրթական հաստատություններին: Համոզված եմ, որ մեր ուսանողները ոչ միայն հրաշալի փորձ ձեռք կբերեն, այլեւ բավականություն կստանան ուսումնառությունից ու այստեղ բնակվելուց»,-նշել է Ջոն Փադըֆութը:
