Աստված չանի մարդ դառնա գյումրեցիների հումորի թեմա… 

Ընդհանրապես գյումրեցիների հետ շփվելը աշխարհայացք, երևակայություն և գունավոր խոսք ձևավորելու ամենաարագ ներգործող միջոցն է: Դժվար է հաճոյանալ գյումրեցու քիմքին, բայց, եթե սիրեց՝ վերջ: Հեշտ չի եղել գյումրեցու կյանքը ու հիմա էլ հեշտ չէ. կորցնել-վերականգնելով ու ամբողջ ընթացքում աշխարհին ապացուցելու բան ունենալով առաջ շարժվելը՝ անընդհատ հիշեցնելով, որ տարբեր է ու տարբերվող:

Մանկությանս պայծառ հուշերից մեկը. մի օր հորս և հորեղբորս հետ գնացել էինք Լենինականի թատրոնի շենքում տեղի ունենալիք մի երեկոյի, որը նվիրված էր իմ կողմից շատ հարգված մարզիկ և լեգենդար լենինականցի Յուրի Վարդանյանին: Ես երևի 7-8 տարեկան դպրոցական էի: Ճանապարհին ծաղիկ էլ առանք: Մեր տեղերը վերևի շարքերում էին: Մանրամասները չեմ հիշում, բայց ինչ-որ մարդիկ էին խոսում, երաժշտություն էր հնչում, վերջում էլ Յուրիկը խոսեց:

Երբ վերջացրեց, հորս հանձնարարությամբ գնացի մեր չեմպիոնին ծաղիկ նվիրելու: Նա վերցրեց ծաղիկներն ու ժպտաց: Մերոնց մոտ աստիճաններով վազքով հետ վերադառնալու ճանապարհին մի շարք ներքև նստած ռուսախոս հանդիսատեսը ժպտալով ինձ նայեց, շրջվեց հորս կողմը՝ ասելով. ,,Маленький Жабoтинский,, (Ժաբոտինսկին Խորհրդային Միության ծանրորդ էր ծանր քաշային կարգում)… Բոլորը ծիծաղեցին: Ես այդքան էլ ուրախանալու բան չտեսա, բայց հանդիսատեսներից մեկն ինձ հույս տալու համար շշնջաց. «Բան չկա, մեր հումորից խոնավություն է քաշել»: Տրամադրությունս տեղն ընկավ…

Կարոտով եմ հիշում Գյումրիում անցած մանկության ու պատանեկության տարիներս: Այդ տարիներին ես էլ էի խաղում ոչ գյումրեցի կամ ոչ բարբառախոս հասակակիցներիս հոգիների հետ, ովքեր չգիտեին ի՞նչ է մուշուրբան, ո՞նց են ուտում թաթարբորակին ու քյալլեն, իսկ գերազանցիկներին առաջարկում էի հայերեն թարգմանել ՛՛ՍԱՅԼՈՒԳ՛՛ բառը ու այդպես հասկացնում, որ բան էլ չգիտեն: 

Շնորհավորում եմ մեծեր ծնած, սեփական թերություններն առավելության վերածող, իմ քաղաքի օրը: Հպարտ եմ, որ կա Գյումրին, գյումրեցիներին մաղթում եմ առավելագույնը. դրանից պակասին դուք արժանի չեք:
