Երբ փորձում եմ ուսումնասիրել սահմանադրական բարեփոխումներին դեմ լինողների փաստարկներն ու պատճառները, հիմնականում տեսնում եմ հենց փաստարկների բացակայություն: Իհարկե, կան մի խումբ մարդիկ, ովքեր դեմ են, և հստակ կարողանում եմ հիմնավորել, թե ինչու են դեմ, ինչին են դեմ, նույնիսկ՝ առաջարկել այլընտրանքային տարբերակներ: Սակայն նմանները այնքան էլ շատ չեն, և ինչպես նկատել եմ՝ ընդդիմադիր դաշտում և հասարակական սեկտորում դեմ լինողները հիմնականում դեմ են նրա համար, որ այս նախագիծը առաջարկել է Սերժ Սարգսյանը: Նրանցից շատերը նույնիսկ չեն էլ կարդացել, չեն էլ ուզում կարդալ, այլ ուղղակի դեմ են: Կարծես թե այսօր ամեն ինչին դեմ լինելը մոդա է և մարդիկ ընկել են մոդայի հետևից: Ես ավելի քան համոզված եմ, որ եթե նույն նախագիծը ամբողջովին նույնությամբ Սերժ Սարգսյանի փոխարեն առաջարկեր դեմ լինողների կուսակցություններից մեկի առաջնորդը, ՀՀԿ-ի փոխարեն՝ իրենց կուսակցությունը, ապա դեմ լինողների զգալի կողմ կլինեին՝ նույն նախագծին:
Այս ամենը փաստում է ընդդիմադիր դաշտում և հասարակական սեկտորում գաղափարական սովի մասին: Մարդիկ ավելի շատ առաջնորդվում են ոչ թե գաղափարներով, այլ անձնական կամ կուսակցական համակրանք-հակակրանքներով, սեփական էմոցիաներով, հույզերով: Բայց, հարգելիներս, միայն հույզերի հիման վրա ավելի լավ պետություն ու քաղաքացիական հասարակություն չեք կառուցի: Նման հարցերում հուզականից առնվազն ավելի բարձր մակարդակի մոտեցումներ են պետք:
Խոստանում եմ առաջիկայում ավելի մանրամասն անդրադառնալ բարեփոխումների հարցին՝ փաստելով ու հիմնավորելով, թե ինչու եմ ես կողմ և ինչին եմ կողմ:
