Ադրբեջանում մարդու իրավունքների խախտումները դատապարտող բանաձևի ընդունումը Եվրախորհրդարանի կողմից Բաքվին ուղղված հզոր ուղերձ է: Այս մասին Ստրասբուրգում «Արմենպրես»-ի թղթակցի հետ զրույցում ասել է Եվրոպական խորհրդարանի պատգամավոր Միշել Ռիվասին:

«Բանաձևը, որում ասվում է, որ պարոն Ալիևը պետք է ազատ արձակի բոլոր քաղբանտարկյալներին, ուժեղ ուղերձ է հղում այս բռնապետությանը: Ոչ ոք չի կարող անպատժելի մնալ մարդու իրավունքների խախտման պարագայում: Նավթային պաշարներից գոյացող փողերը չեն կարող գնել լռություն այնպիսի հիմնարար արժեքների դեպքում, ինչպիսիք են մարդու իրավունքները»,- նշել է պատգամավորը:

Նա ընդգծել է, որ ԵԽ կողմից ընդունված բանաձևը փաստում է, որ Ադրբեջանի հետ Ռազմավարական համագործակցության պայմանագիրը պետք է առկախվի, քանի դեռ Բաքուն որևէ առաջընթաց չի գրանցում մարդու իրավունքների բնագավառում:

«Սա իր ազդեցությունը կունենա նաև Ռազմավարական համագործակցության համաձայնագրի շուրջ բանակցային գործընթացի վրա, քանի որ Եվրոպայի համար կարևոր է ոչ միայն տնտեսությունը, այլև արժեքները: Այսինքն, պետք է գործի «ավելին ավելիի դիմաց» սկզբունքը: Ադրբեջանը պետք է ընդունի այն արժեքները, որոնք կան Եվրոպայում»,- ասել է Ռիվասին:

ԵԽ բանաձևի քննարկումների ժամանակ պատգամավոր Մարիետե Շաակեն ուշադրություն է հրավիրել այն փաստի վրա, որ Ադրբեջանում մարդու իրավունքների ոտնահարումները համակարգված կերպով ավելանում են:

Վերջերս Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետություն այցելած ԵԽ պատգամավոր Ջորդի Սեբաստիան էլ փաստել է, որ ադրբեջանական բանակը շարունակաբար խախտում է հրադադարի պահպանման ռեժիմը: «Ալիևի վարչակարգը չի ցանկանում ճանաչել հիմնարար իրավունքները և ցանկանում է ապակայունացնել իրավիճակը հարևան երկրներում: Կրկնվող հարձակումներ են իրականացվում Հայաստանի հետ սահմանին»,- նշել է նա:

Եվրախորհրդարանը որոշում է կայացրել չուղարկել դիտորդական առաքելություն Ադրբեջան` հետևելու նոյեմբերին կայանալիք խորհրդարանական ընտրությունների ընթացքին, քանի որ կարծում է, որ «ներկա պայմաններում դա կլինի ապարդյուն և կարող է ծառայել միայն խորապես աղավաղված ընտրական միջավայրը լեգիտիմացնելուն»:
