Հայաստանի նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն առաջարկել Է ՀԱՊԿ-ի շրջանակներում ստեղծել խաղաղապահների պատրաստման կազմակերպություն, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով ՌԻԱ Նովոստիին:

Նա նշել Է, որ ՀԱՊԿ-ում Հայաստանի նախագահության ընթացքում մեծ ուշադրություն Է դարձվելու խաղաղապահ գործողություններին:

«Եկել Է ՀԱՊԿ-ի խաղաղապահների պատրաստման համար բազային կազմակերպություն ստեղծելու ժամանակը: Որպես այդ բազային կազմակերպության հիմք, առաջարկում ենք դիտարկել Հայաստանի զինված ուժերի խաղաղապահ բրիգադի պատրաստման կենտրոնը: Մենք պատրաստ ենք ներկայացնել տարբեր գործողությունների ավելի քան տասնամյա մասնակցության ընթացքում կուտակված փորձը»,-հայտարարել Է ՀՀ նախագահը ՀԱՊԿ-ի Հավաքական անվտանգության խորհրդի՝ Դուշանբեում կայացած նիստում:

ՀԱՊԿ-ի մեջ մտնում են Ռուսաստանը, Հայաստանը, Բելառուսը, Ղազախստանը, Ղրղզստանը եւ Տաջիկստանը: Օպերատիվ արձագանքման հավաքական ուժերն ստեղծվել են 2009 թվականին եւ ընդգրկում են 22 հազար մարդ: Բացի դրանցից, ՀԱՊԿ-ի հավաքական ուժերի մեջ մտնում են Կենտրոնասիական տարածաշրջանի Արագ արձագանքման հավաքական ուժերը, Հավաքական խաղաղապահ ուժերը եւ Հավաքական ավիացիոն ուժերը, ինչպես նաեւ հատուկ գործողությունների ուժերը:
