«ՀՀ ԱԺ ՀԱԿ խմբակցության քարտուղար Արամ Մանուկյանը հայտնվել է բավականին բարդ իրավիճակում: Բանն այն է, որ նա նախօրեին ԱԺ-ում Կառավարության հետ հարց ու պատասխանի ժամանակ հայտարարել է, որ սեպտեմբերի 13-ին Մարալիկում տեղի ունեցած քաղաքապետի ընտրություններում ընտրողներին էլէներգիայի վճարման կտրոններ են բաժանվել:

Նա ասել էր նաև, որ պատրաստ է նույնիսկ ցույց տալ այդ «չեկերի» օրինակները:

«Ժողովուրդ»-ը տեղեկացավ, որ ՀՀ վարչապետ Հովիկ Աբրահամյանը, ԱԺ մի քանի պատգամավորներ՝ Սամվել Նիկոյանի գլխավորությամբ, մի շարք հեղինակություններ՝ Երևանից ու Մարալիկից, երեկ Արամ Մանուկյանին 2 օր ժամանակ են տվել՝ պահանջելով կամ ապացույցներ ներկայացնել, կամ ներողություն խնդրել:

 Ի՞նչ եք պատրաստվում անել, «Ժողովուրդ»-ի հարցին Մանուկյանն ասաց. «Ես քաղաքական հայտարարություն եմ արել և կներկայացնեմ նաև փաստաթղթերը»:
