ԱԳ նախարար Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը սեպտեմբերի 18-ին մասնակցել է Արևելյան գործընկերության անդամ երկրների տեղական և տարածքային իշխանության մարմինների խորհրդաժողովի` CORLEAP-ի բյուրոյի Երևանում կայացած հանդիպմանը:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության եւ հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից, ողջույնի խոսքով դիմելով հանդիպման մասնակիցներին՝ Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը նշել է, որ նման ձևաչափով հանդիպումները կարևոր են և խթանում են տեղական և տարածքային իշխանության մարմինների միջև փոխգործակցությունը:

Անդրադառնալով Կովկասյան տարածաշրջանում համագործակցությանը՝ նախարար Նալբանդյանն ընդգծել է, որ թե Ադրբեջանը, թե Թուրքիան խոչընդոտում են տարածաշրջանային փոխգործակցությանը:

Նախարարն անդրադարձել է նաև Հայաստանի և Վրաստանի միջև տարբեր նախագծերի շրջանակներում արդյունավետ համագործակցությանը՝ ընդգծելով. «2009թ.-ից ի վեր Հայաստանի և Վրաստանի տարածաշրջաններն ակտիվ համագործակցել են «Եվրոկովկաս» եվրոտարածաշրջանային նախագծի շրջանակներում: Վերջինս միտված է խթանելու միջսահմանային համագործակցությունն ու հնարավորություն է ընձեռում տեղական իշխանություններին ուղիներ փնտրելու ընդհանուր տարածաշրջանային տնտեսական և սոցիալական խնդիրների լուծման համար»:

«Մենք նաև արժևորում ենք Եվրոպայի խորհրդի տեղական և տարածաշրջանային իշխանությունների կոնգրեսի հետ համագործակցությունը Հայաստանում տեղական ժողովրդավարությունը խթանելու և ամրապնդելու գործում։ Դիտարկում ենք համագործակցությունը տեղական և տարածաշրջանային մակարդակներում, մասնավորապես, միջսահմանային համագործակցությունը՝ որպես հարևան երկրների հասարակությունների միջև կամուրջներ հաստատելու և տարածաշրջանային կայունությունը և կայուն զարգացումը խթանելու անհրաժեշտ միջոց»,-ասել է Հայաստանի արտաքին քաղաքական գերատեսչության ղեկա վարը։
