ԱԺ Հայաստան-Սիրիա բարեկամական խմբի ղեկավար Տաճատ Վարդապետյանը և  բարեկամական խմբի անդամ Թևան Պողոսյանը սեպտեմբերի 23-ին հանդիպել են Հայաստանում Սիրիայի Արաբական Հանրապետության գործերի ժամանակավոր հավատարմատար Իսսամ Նայալի, հյուպատոս Ամիրա Կարավուանի եւ մշակութային կցորդ Ռանա Խայատի հետ: Ինչպես Արմենպրեսին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ ԱԺ հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, ողջունելով հյուրերին՝ Տաճատ Վարդապետյանը բարձր է գնահատել հայ-սիրիական հարաբերությունները, անդրադարձել բարեկամական խմբի` այս տարի հունիսին Սիրիայի Արաբական Հանրապետություն կատարած այցի նպատակներին:

Տաճատ Վարդապետյանը նշել է, որ բարեկամական խմբի անդամների այցի հիմնական նպատակն էր տեղում ծանոթանալ հայ համայնքի խնդիրներին, Սիրիայում ստեղծված և դեռևս շարունակվող ճգնաժամային իրավիճակին: Այս համատեքստում բարեկամական խմբի ղեկավարը կարևորել է հանդիպումները Սիրիայի նախագահ Բաշար ալ-Ասադի, խորհրդարանի նախագահի, վարչապետի, արտգործնախարարի, երկրի հոգևոր առաջնորդի հետ:

Տաճատ Վարդապետյանն անհրաժեշտ է համարել առավել սերտացնել միջխորհրդարանական կապերն ու համագործակցությունը:

Հայաստան-Սիրիա բարեկամական խմբի անդամ Թևան Պողոսյանը ևս ողջունել է հյուրերի այցը Հայաստանի խորհրդարան: Նա տեղեկացրել է, որ շարունակելու է միջազգային կառույցներում ներկայացնել Սիրիայում ստեղծված և շարունակվող իրավիճակը:

Հայաստանում Սիրիայի Արաբական Հանրապետության գործերի ժամանակավոր հավատարմատար Իսսամ Նայալը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել հանդիպման համար: Նրա խոսքով՝ Հայաստանը և Սիրիան վաղեմի բարեկամներ են, եւ այդ մասին է վկայում նաեւ Սիրիայի խորհրդարանի նախագահի այցը Հայաստան՝ մասնակցելու Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցի միջոցառումներին:

Իսսամ Նայալը ջերմությամբ եւ գոհունակությամբ է խոսել Սիրիայի հայ համայնքի մասին, կարեւորել նրանց դերը Սիրիայի զարգացման գործում: Նա հույս է հայտնել, որ տեղահանված հայերը կվերադառնան Սիրիա:

Հանդիպման ընթացքում զրուցակիցներն անդրադարձել են տարածաշրջանային մի շարք հարցերի:
