Իսպանիայում Ադրբեջանի նախկին դեսպան ԱլթայԷֆենդիեւը, որը Նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիեւի 2015 թվականի մայիսի 20-ի հրամանագրով ազատվել էր աշխատանքից, բայց շարունակում է դիվանագիտական ներկայացուցչի իր «պարտականությունները», իր պաշտոնանկության մասին լուրերը «հերյուրանքներ» է համարում:

Այս մասին  հայտնում են ադրբեջանական ԶԼՄ-ները:

«Ինձ հետ կանչելու մասին ոչ մի հրամանագիր էլ չի եղել: Որեւէ հանձնարակականԻսպանիայից Բաքու իմ հետ կանչման մասին ես չեմ ստացել: Մինչեւ եսհամապատասխան հանձնարարական չստանամ, շարունակելու եմ իմգործունեությունը դեսպանատան ղեկավարի պաշտոնում: Իմ հետ կանչման մասինբոլոր հերյուրանքները Ադրբեջանի ԱԳՆ-ի դեմ կեղտոտ արշավի դրսեւորում են», - Էֆենդիեւի հայտարարությունը մեջբերում են ադրբեջանական ԶԼՄ-ները` Ադրբեջանի պաշտոնական կայքերից հրապարակելով համապատասխան հրամանագրի տեքստը:

Ադրբեջանական ANS հեռուստաալիքին տված հարցազրույցում նախկին դեսպանը կասկած է հայտնել Ադրբեջանի նախագահի համապատասխան հրամանագրի առկայության հարցում: Նա մտադիր է շարունակել մնալ Իսպանիայում` ղեկավարելով երկրի դիվանագիտական առաքելությունը, եւ անգամ դատական գործ բացել իրեն «անօրինաբար պաշտոնանկանելու» համար:

Ալթայ Էֆենդիեւը Ադրբեջանի ԱԳՆ հինգերորդ աշխատակիցն է, որը պաշատոնանկությունից հետո չի ցանկանում վերադառնալ Բաքու: Մինչ այդ Ադրբեջան վերադարձից հրաժարվել եւ իրենց գտնվելու երկրներում քաղաքական ապաստանի դիմում են ներկայացրել Ավստրալիայում ադրբեջանական դեսպանատան աշխատակիցներ Ֆարիդ Սուբհանվերդիեւը եւ Անար Հասանովը, Հոլանդիայում` Նահիդ Ջաֆարովը եւ Բելգիայում` Արիֆ Մամեդովը:

Ադրբեջանի ԱԳՆ-ում ճգնաժամը սկսվել է մարդու հիմնարար իրավունքները երկրում խախտվելու համար Facebook-ի իր էջում իշխանությունների հասցեին Արիֆ Մամեդովի քննադատական գրառումից հետո, ինչի արդյունքում նա զրկվել է Իսլամական համագործակցության կազմակերպությունում եւ Եվրամիությունում բարձրաստիճան դինավագետի կարգավիճակից եւ պաշտոնանկ արվել: Աշխատանքից զրկվել են բոլոր նրանք, որոնք հավանել են այդ հրապարակումը, այդ թվում` Մամեդովի գործընկեր-դիվանագետներ: Մամեդովի գրառմանը հավանություն էին հայտնել Ադրբեջանի դիվանագիտական ծառայության հինգ աշխատ ակիցներ` Բելգիայի դեսպանատնից Ֆարահ Գյուզալովը, Անար Մադաթլին, Քուվեյթում դեսպանատան խորհրդական Ջավիդ Մուսաեւը, Սիրիայում ժամանակավոր հավատարմատար Ռամիզ Վելիեւը, Ադրբեջանի ԱԳՆ-ի մամուլի ծառայության ղեկավար Հիքմեթ Հաջիեւը: Վերջինս հետագայում սահմանազատվել է Մամեդովից, իսկ մանացածներին ստիպել են գրել ստորացուցիչ բացատրագրեր:
