Ծովով Եվրոպա ժամանած փախստականների եւ միգրանտների թիվը մոտենում Է 500 հազարի

Այս տարվա սկզբից ավելի քան 488 հազար փախստականներ եւ միգրանտներ են Մերձավոր Արեւելքի եւ Աֆրիկայի երկրներից Միջերկրական ծովով հասել Եվրոպա:

Այս վիճակագրությունը ներկայացրել Է Միգրացիայի միջազգային կազմակերպությունը (ՄՄԿ):

Նրա տվյալներով՝ մարդկանց մեծամասնությունը Եվրոպայում հայտնվել Է Հունաստանի տարածքով: Այս ճանապարհն ընտրել Է 257 հազար մարդ: Նրանց մեծ մասը՝ 175 հազարը, սիրիացի փախստականներն են: Նրանց թվում շատ են նաեւ Աֆղանստանի, Պակիստանի եւ Իրաքի քաղաքացիները: 

Միջերկրական ծովով Եվրոպայի տարածք մտնելու համար երկրորդ առավել մեծ ժողովրդականություն վայելող երկիրը Իտալիան Է: Փախստականների եւ միգրանտների մեծ մասը, որոնք իջել են իտալական ափեր, կազմում են Էրիթրեացիները: Նրանց հաջորդում են Նիգերիայի, Սոմալիի, Սուդանի եւ Սիրիայի քաղաքացիները: Շատ մարդկանց համար, ովքեր փորձում Էին հանգրվանել Եվրոպայում, Միջերկրական ծովով ճանապարհորդությունը վերջինն Է դառնում կյանքում: ՄՄԿ-ի տեղեկատվության համաձայն՝ տարեսկզբից 2873 մարդ զոհվել Է ծովով Եվրոպա հասնելու փորձ անելիս:

Միաժամանակ ՄԱԿ-ի՝ փախստականների գործերի գերագույն կոմիսարի վարչությունը (ՓԳԿՎ) տեղեկացրել Է, որ 429 հազար սիրիացիներ են Եվրոպայում ապաստան խնդրել 2011 թվականից, երբ այս երկրում սկսվեց քաղաքացիական պատերազմը: Ընդ որում այդ խնդրագրերի քառորդ մասը ներկայացվել Է ընթացիկ տարվա առաջին կեսին, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
