Հայատանի ազգային օլիմպիական կոմիտեն հանդիսավոր նիստով տոնեց հիմնադրման 25-ամյակը:

Սեպտեմբերի 29-ին կայացած միջոցառմանը ներկա էին ՀՀ վարչապետ Հովիկ Աբրահամյանը, Հայաստանի ազգային օլիմպիական կոմիտեյի նախագահ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը , Ազգային օլիմպիական կոմիտեների ասոցիացիաների նախագահ շեյ խ Ահմեդ Ալ Սաբահն ու Եվրոպական օլիմպիական կոմիտեյի նաագահ Պատրիկ Հիկելը:

«ՀՀ կառավարության և անձամբ իմ անունից ջերմորեն ողջունում եմ բոլորիդ ՀԱՕԿ-ի 25-ամյակի կապակցությամբ:  ՀԱՕԿ-ի 25-ամյակը իրավմամբ նշակալից իրադարձություն է հայկական մարզաշխարհի համար: ՀԱՕԿ-ը հետզհետե զարգանում է, դրա վառ ապացույցն է  նոր բացված Օլիմպիական ավանը, որն ունի հարմարավետ մարզադաշտեր և դահլիճներ:  Պարոն Ծառուկյան, Ձեր ներդրումը հայանպաստ և ազգանպաստ գործ է: Ասածիս վառ ապացույցն է անցած տարի ՄՕԿ-ի նախագահի այցելությունը Հայաստան: Կատարված աշխատանքը տեսանելի է և այն ինչ ունենք այսօր՝ գնահատելի», - նշեց Հովիկ Ա բրահամյանը:

Վարչապետը, ՀՀ Նախագահի հրամանագրերի համաձայն, պարգևատրեց մարզաշխարհի մի շարք ներկայացուցիչների: Ֆիզիկական կուլտուրայի և սպորտի զարգացման գործում ներդրած ավանդի համար Երախտագիտության մեդալով պարգևատրվեցին ՀԱՕԿ գլխավոր քարտուղար Հրաչյա Ռոստոմյանը, Օլիմպիական խաղերի չեմպիոն Արմեն Նազարյանը, նետաձգության հավաքականի գլխավոր մարզիչ Սեյրան Նիկողոսյանը և  հունահռոմեական ոճի ըմբշամարտի աշխարհի չեմպիոն Վաղինակ Գալստյանը:

«Առաջին հերթին ուզում եմ շնորհավորել ՀԱՕԿ-ի 25-ամյակը: ՀԱՕԿ-ի կազմավորման սկզբում, իհարկե, եղել են խնդիրներ, բայց դրանից հետո մենք կարողացել ենք հաղթանակներ պարգևել մեր ազգին: Չեմ ուզում ճոխ-ճոխ բառեր ասել, բայց բոլորիս համար տեսանելի է, որ մեր մարզիկները Օլիմպիական խաղերի, աշխարհի և Եվրոպայի առաջնություններից վերադառնում են մեդալներով: Ինչ արել եմ հայկական մարզաշխարհի համար՝ քիչ է: Էլի եմ անելու»,- շեշտեց ՀԱՕԿ նախագահ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը:

Ներկաներին ողջունեցին նաև ԵՕԿ-ի նախագահ Պատրիկ Հիկեն և ԱՕԿԱ-ի նախագահ շեյխ Ալ Սաբահը:

Հանդիսավոր նիստի ընթացքում Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը օլիմպիական կոմիտեի մեդալներով պարգևատրեց մարզաշխարհի մի շարք ներկայացուցիչների, իսկ նիստի ընթացքում ցուցադրվեց Էդվին Գրիգորյանի հայկական սպորտի մասին պատմող ֆիլմը: Պատրիկ Հիկեն նվեր էր պատրաստել նաև Հայաստանի ըմբշամարտի ֆեդերացիայի նախագահ Սամվել Կարապետյանի համար:
