Շվեյցարիայի Բողոքական Եկեղեցիների խորհրդի հրավերով Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Արամ Ա կաթողիկոսի այդ երկիր կատարած պաշտոնական այցելութեան ընթացքում, Բեռնի Մայր Տաճարում տեղի է ունեցաւ միջեկեղեցական արարողություն, ուր Վեհափառ Հայրապետն իր պատգամն է փոխանցել:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին Մեծի Տանն Կիլիկիո կաթողիկոսությունից, միջեկեղեցական արարողությանը ներկա էին Շվեյցարիայի Բողոքական Եկեղեցիների խորհրդի նախագահ, դոկտոր Գոտֆրիդ Լոխերը եւ իրեն ընկերացող մի խումբ եկեղեցականներ, Շվեյցարիայում Հայաստանի ու Լիբանանի հյուպատոսները, Շվեյցարիայի սենատորներ և պատգամավորներ, Վեհափառ Հայրապետին ընկերացող պատվիրակության անդամները՝ Հունաստանի Հայոց Թեմի Առաջնորդ Գերշ. Տ. Խորեն Արք. Տողրամաճյանը, Կաթողիկոսարանի Միջեկեղեցական բաժանմունքի վար իչ Գերպ. Տ. Հուսիկ Ծ. Վրդ. Մարտիրոսյանը, Լսատեսողական բաժանմունքի վարիչ Հոգշ. Տ. Պետրոս Վրդ. Մանվելյանը, պատմագավոր Հակոբ Բագրատունին, «Արմենոֆաս» հիմնարկի նախագահ Թենի Փիրրի-Սիմոնյանը, «Արմէնոֆաս» հանձնախմբի այլ անդամներ եւ շուրջ 200 շվեյցարացիներ ու շվեյցարահայեր:

Արարողութեան ընթացքում Վեհափառ Հայրապետը նախ շնորհակալություն է հայտնել  հրավերի համար եւ ապա անդրադարձել գլխավոր երեք կետերի, որոնք են հավատքն Աստուծո նկատմամբ, արդարության պաշտպանութունը եւ  մարդկային արժանապատուությանը զորակցությունը, որոնք մղիչ ուժ են հանդիսացել Շվեյցարիայի ժողովրդի, եկեղեցու ու պետության համար` ամենադժվար օրերին հայ ժողովրդին զորակցելու համար:

«Շվեյցարիայի երիտասարդ նոր սերնդի զավակները պետք է հպարտ զգան իրենց ծնողների եւ նախահայրերի` հայ ժողովրդի նկատմամբ նրանց ցուցաբերած մարդասիրական վերաբերմունքի համար: Հայ երիտասարդ սերունդն իր կարգին երախտապարտ պետք է լինի եւ հիշի Շվեյցարիայի ժողովրդի կատարած մարդասիրական զորակցությունը հայ ժողովրդի ամենաճգնաժամային պահին: Մենք բոլորս պետք է մեր երախտագիտությունը հայտնենք: Մենք նաեւ նոր տեսիլքով ապագային պետք է նայենք: Ինչպե՞ս կարող ենք մեր անցյալի փորձառությունից սովորել եւ նախկին զորակցութիւնը փոխակերպել համագործակցության ու բարեկամության: Ա՛յս է մեր առջեւ գտնվող նոր մարտահրավերը»,- ընդգծել է Վեհափառ Հայրապետը:

Դոկտոր Լոխերն իր հերթին անդրադարձել է Հայոց ցեղասպանության օրերին շվերցարացի ժողովրդի քրիստոնեական արժեքների նկատմամբ ունեցած ամուր կապվածությանը, որը նրանց մղեց ծառայելու հայ ժողովուրդին ու զորավիգ կանգնելու նրա արդար դատին:

Արարողության ընթացքում աղոթքների եւ սաղմոսների ընթերցումների հետ մեկտեղ հնչել են հայկական  շարականներ:
