Երեկ մամուլում տեղեկատվություն էր տարածվել այն մասին, որ Թուրքիայի զինված ուժերի գլխավոր շտաբի պետ Հուլուսի Աքարը հոկտեմբերի 5-ին պաշտոնական այց կկատարի Բաքու: Ծրագրված այցի շրջանակում Հուլուսի Աքարի գլխավորած պատվիրակությունը հանդիպումներ կունենա Ադրբեջանի ՊՆ ղեկավարության հետ:

Թե արդյոք Թուրքիայի այս քայլը կարելի է որպես պատասխան դիտարկել հայկական կողմին՝ հաշվի առնելով այն, որ օրերս ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարն այց կատարեց Արցախ, ԼՂՀ նախագահի մամուլի խոսնակ Դավիթ Բաբայանը պատասխանեց, որ Ադրբեջան պետությունը, որն արհեստականորեն է ստեղծվել թուրքական զինված ուժերի կողմից 1918 թվականին, որեւէ քայլով չի զարմացնի մեզ: «Այսօր շարունակվում է իրականացվել նույն քաղաքականությունը, ինչ եղել է ժամանակին` Թուրքիայի բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաներ ու գեներալներ անընդհատ այցեր են ունենում Ադրբեջան, նրանց բանակն են մարզում, տեխնիկական աջակցություն են ցուցաբերում, զենք են մատակարարում եւ այլն»,- նշեց Դավիթ Բաբայանը հավելելով, թե թուրքական այդ զենքերն ամեն օր օգտագործվում են եւ’ Արցախի, եւ’ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Զինված ուժերի դեմ: «Սա պրակտիկա է, որն Ադրբեջանը միշտ կիրառել է եւ ըստ երեւույթին շարունակելու է կիրառել, սա պան-թուրքիզմի դրսեւորումներից մեկն է»,- ասաց նա:

Ըստ ԼՂՀ նախագահի մամուլի խոսնակի՝ անկախ Հայաստանի կողմից արվող քայլերի՝ նրանք իրականացնում են վաղուց մշակված իրենց տարբերակը: «Մենք չպետք է կարծենք, թե նրանց այդ այցելությունները կապված են մեր քայլերի հետ, բնավ այդպես չէ, նրանք միշտ են այդ քաղաքականությունը վարել»,- ասաց նա: Դավիթ Բաբայանը նաեւ հավելեց, որ թուրք-ադրբեջանական քայլերը որեւէ կապ չունեն նաեւ ՀՀ նախագահի՝ ՄԱԿ-ում ունեցած ելույթի հետ: «Նրանք միշտ են համագործակցել տնտեսական, ռազմական եւ այլ առումներով»,- ասաց նա:
