Հայաստանի և Եվրամիության միջև ապագա համաձայնագիրը կլինի հավակնոտ, որն իր մեջ կներգրավի համագործակցության հնարավորինս շատ ոլորտներ: Լրագրողների հետ զրույցում այս մասին նշեց Հայաստանում Ֆրանսիայի արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Ժան-Ֆրանսուա Շարպանտիեն:

 «Նոր համաձայնագրի շուրջ բանակցությունների ընթացքում կարևորություն է տրվելու Հայաստան-Եվրամիություն առևտրատնտեսական հարաբերությունների խո րացմանը: Ես հույս ունեմ, որ բանակցային գործընթացը շատ արագ տեմպերով կընթանա, որի ընթացքում հնարավորություն կլինի այլ ոլորտներ ևս ներգրավել բանակցային գործընթացում, որը հիմք է հանդիսանալու ապագա համաձայնագրի ստորագրման համար»,- ընդգծեց Շարպանտիեն:

Դեսպանը հավելեց, որ Եվրասիական տնտեսական միությանը Հայաստանի անդամակցությանը որևէ խնդիր չի առաջացնում ԵՄ-Հայաստան համագործակցության խորացման համար: 

«Մենք այստեղ որևէ խնդիր չենք տեսնում, որովհետև հասկացել ենք, գիտակցել ենք, ծանոթ ենք եղել Հայաստանի կայացրած որոշմանը: Չեմ կարծում, որ Հայաստանի անդամակցությունը Եվրասիական տնտեսական միությանը կարող է խնդիրներ առաջացնել»,- եզրափակեց դեսպանը:

Հոկտեմբերի 12-ին Եվրամիության անդամ 28 երկրներ մանդատ են տվել Հայաստանին Եվրամիության հետ նոր համաձայնագրի շուրջ բանակցությունները սկսելու վերաբերյալ:
